Black Square Dukes now expected first half of April

Featured Replies

They could have done a mixed release like inibuilds did for the A300 where SU15 beta users are able to benefit from the ground handling enhancement but I guess Black Square wanted to give everyone their best first impression and I totally respect that.

Lets just hope SU-15 does't break anything in the Duke's, otherwise release day will be further down next month.

The sole reason BS decided to hold off the release is because it's been developed using features of SU15 beta. So unlikely anything is going to be broken

No release date is unknown . All we know it will be released  after April 30 (release of SU15)

Oh bummer, I missed that message, I thought it would be released this week, thanks.

But I wonder why, all planes released so far work just fine with SU15.

Release today, of the Duke? The week of the 8th of april nears its end. And friday is always a nice day to release something.

Yes, the 8th April date was scrapped, as Just Flight decided (probably rightly so) to wait until SU15 had released, before releasing the Dukes.   The current 'tentative' forecast for SU15 release is 30th April.  I'd imagine JF will need at least a day (possibly more) to test the Dukes in the release build of SU15, before then releasing them.

TL:DR:  2-3 weeks before we see the Dukes.

I guess their release date will highly depend on what Asobo plans to do in the beta in the coming weeks. Are they only working on the Neo - or are they planning to do something else. Who knows 🤷‍♂️

MS, 30th April:    "We regret to inform that the new tentative, possible, unlikely release date for SU15 is 1st August.  This is because we've decided SU15 will include the Ini A320 and a new Hans Hartman Dash 8-200 that will be full of bugs until mid-summer; thus holding up the SU".

Perhaps they're doing this to ensure as many as possible will buy FS2024 🙂

Maybe, but I wish they would have just planned to include it in FS2024 rather than shoehorning it into 2020, which seems to be causing some serious issues.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.
