March 16, 20242 yr This is the new Redwing Zeppelin and part of Redwing’s 1930s scenery, which has to be bought separately The airport is Berlin Tempelhof Boy oh boy, this is sooo different from anything I have flown before The whole city has been changed to the 1930s, so you won’t see any modern buildings and no high rise Slowly approaching the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, the German Parliament building And the Reichstag looks with its old roof structure exactly as it looked in those days If you look at the shadow cast by the airship, the Brandenburg Gate seems really small And that's it for now. Very interesting, but I certainly won't be crossing the pond with it in real time 😀😀 Edited March 16, 20242 yr by bernd1151 Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

March 16, 20242 yr Excellent photos!!! (As I going through each one, I thought the same thing..."You're not going to make any great distance in that airship!") Our lives have become so much more fast paced than just a few short generations before us.
March 16, 20242 yr Great set Bernd! 🙂 The Zeppelin looks fantastic, especially the inside views of the cockpit which is more like in a ship. They must have done a lot of work to transform the entire city to the 1930's, PC: Ryzen 7 3700x AM4, 16 GB RAM, RTX 3060 12GB, Storage SSD 3TB, HDD 8TB, USB 8TB, 2 Screens, Win10-64 SIMs: FSX SE, P3d 3.4/4.5/6.1, Xplane 10/11/12, MSFS 2020/24, Aerofly FS 4
March 17, 20242 yr Marvelously nostalgic set of images, bernd...! The Redwing folks are onto something quite impressive here, that has eluded our previous SIMS, though been often talked about ...

Some thirty years ago I took the family on vacation for 3.5 to 4 weeks, every year without any issues. If my kids file for a vacation now that is longer than two weeks, they feel guilty. Over a hundred years ago our ancestors went on vacation not for four weeks but for two months. And there was no smart phone or internet to connect them with business at home. And the daily newspaper usually reached them two days later. March 17, 20242 yr Very nice shots! I've been tempted, but the repaint possibilities are so slim... All my FSX/P3D repaints are here on Avsim, for my MSFS repaints, go to FS.2

Who lives a happier life? 🙂 Easy to answer Bernd, we today are not on the happy side. The modern technology makes them all short of time. Short of time to do something, short of time to react to something, short of time to create something and so on. And at the end it's no advantage because to have some time alvailable has always been a gauge for happiness. And regarding business it's not an advantage as well because you can make money as soon as your services are up to date. Regardless what that meant in this or any time.
