All of a sudden, my sim is stuck on the loading screen after you chose the aircraft, origination and select "fly".  It acts like it is loading, the progress bar moves almost all the way to the end, then stops.  This is the first it has ever happened.  I thought the sim was corrupt, so I re-installed MSFS from scratch.  My community folder is empty as well.  Any ideas??

Similar problem after ending a flight.  Program unresponsive.  I have to use control, alt, delete to close.   Problem started after putting livery files in my community folder for the Cardenao  182 and when flying the 182.Program works as it should with other aircraft.

I would start looking at your community folder.  Any new additions to it?

Noticed it today, I got feed up and left it at the loading screen.

When I returned after 15 minutes or so, I was on the main page.

You might want to give it sometime to churn before taking drastic action.

You may find logging out of Xbox app and MS store app, rebooting and then logging back into the apps may help. That process certainly helps when stuck on the syncing screen.

Just a hunch,  but possibly the Bing servers are the issue.   If you haven't tried the map enhancement tool - you should!   Its freeware/payware and it just works.

And it has updates almost every day... a bit noisy

Today freeze during the flight, restart MSFS and get a small update (>1.36.2.0 > CU6).
