I’m still having to reset to full screen from windowed mode every time I launch MSFS. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

One way to assure accessibility to you "cloud" setting is to keep your xbox app and windows are up to date

Did any one in this thread try what @sd_flyer suggested in the second post? This is (most probably) the solution (except for windowed screen to be solved with SU15) but no one seems to pay attention very much as it may sound too simple...😎

We tend to forget these updates of Window Store and Xbox even if we don't use one. In some extreme cases, you may have to uninstall the Xbox App and reinstall it.

This actually a thing. I do work with Microsoft products professionally and in my line or work a lot of technical support issue being resolve when customer get windows updates up to date. 80% of the time it's networking issue  which in turn also related to cloud syncing . Microsoft is notorious for disrupting network connections when important security updates are pending

Is this an MS Store issue? I'm on Steam and I set my controls, settings and everything back when the sim launched and never had to redo them, ever. Only graphical settings need some changes after I've re-installed Windows and the sim.

No it happens on Steam as well, I've had it happen twice to me. Might be rarer than those who purchased from the store?
