Rockford to LGA (in a big boy)

Featured Replies

This is about the closest you'll get to me flying an airlner in the sim hehe.  I've been known to fly an actual airline once in a blue moon.

I also don't like the typical big airport to big airport so I'm doing a private BBJ flight from Rockford IL to Queens (LaGuardia) NY.  The route is KRFD ETG MIP4 KLGA at FL410 - did about 440 KTAS with a nice tailwind nearing 500 knots.

Hope you enjoy these fancy schmancy "airliner-ish" shots 🙂

Parked at the SW corner we'll load via the stairs

It's from MoreRightRudder Mike - before he took his down.  I'm not sure where they're hosted now.  Used to be a link in the WT Discord but I can't find it.

The other nice thing about corp jets is bypassing all those pesky security lines 🙂

Great shots - glad to see you "slumming" now and again 😉

Great set Ryan! And wouldn't it be nice to have one of those for real eh? I might be prepared to consider actual real life air travel again if I could do it this way!

I couldn't have said it better 😀

Funny that you pass over Altoona, because just yesterday a saw a very interesting documentary that covered the glorious past of Altoona as one of the biggest, if not the biggest steam locomotive hub in the US from the 1930s to 1960s. After that the diesel locos took over and the city sadly lost a great deal of its business.

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

Good shots, private jetliners seem to be a standard today...🙂 how much does the world cost?

...🙂...You may deny but I do recall having caught (eh...I mean seen) you fly the B787 once...🙂...

Actually, you have flown the Corporate Big Boy Jets a bit more often...This is a fine set here ...!
