So pointless that one virtual coin is worth 50k

So pointless... 😉

Worth doesn't give something a worthy purpose.

I cannot exist without money but I can exist without cryptocurrency.

It is a fad energised by the very people who already own it.😁

  • Sorry, but I completely disagree. I flew long haul for 6 years, and looks like I’ll be doing it again here soon. Most of the time in cruise, you’re literally just sitting there with nothing to do. If

You could also try to reduce your power draw by undervolting. I have not tried a lot with my CPU but it's always the first thing I do when upgrading my GPU. For example my 4070 SUPER would draw ~200W with factory settings. After undervolting it does not exceed 130W. Thats 30% less power, and 10°C less.

In case people are concerned, just wanted to point out that application software can't damage a PC (assuming it is properly built with the appropriate cooling). The reason that some addons advise against increasing sim rate above a certain level is because this can cause the autopilot or flight model to become unstable, typically causing the aircraft to start oscillating up and down.

I've explained above why I would not expect sim rate / time compression to have a significant effect on power draw. In any case, this is easy to test using a utility that displays system power draw, such as HWINFO 64. (Not at my PC right now, so I can't do this test myself.)

My computer runs on nuclear power. Hence, I don't feel guilty in the slightest.
