So a quick update. The purchase went well. No waiting. 10 mins to download and install. Copy and pasted code from Instant download account and activation was a breeze. I wanted a quick flight to

Taken just by itself that's a pretty niche reason to entirely reject a plane 🙂

Let's not go there.  This thread is about the FSS 727, not Aerosoft.

I like it, but it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea.
I love the old handling of these older airplanes, in the beginning I always flew them with the GTN750, now only with the INS, the INS flying has also been made very good and quick to use by a recent update, which I think is great.

So you like it or not, that depends on the taste of the individual, a great airplane for me, I wouldn't have wanted to do without it !

So i am a happy Camper and i am done fine to save my money for the MS 707 and put it in this 727-200 AC..

cheers  😉

I am currently the happiest cat alive thanks to this glorious 727 freighter release + the best Boeing 737 that was ever made released yesterday! (The Max of course.)

It is clear which two airplanes will come next into my hangar, but I have a question about a little bug in the 727. One website (not sure if it was FSelite.com or another page showcasing and presenting and testing the new 727) mentioned a small bug on the horn cutout switch a few weeks ago, when this switch is pulled it hoovers in mid air.

Is this little visual glitch already fixed? 🙂

Where do you get that information from...I see no evidence of that anywhere.

I still have autopilot issues. Especially during climb and descent. Autopilot blows passed arm altitude and doesn't respond with ALT HOLD. I tried both PMS and TDI GPS setup thinking may be it something to do with one of them. However, the issue is with both of them. I suspect it could be related to my autopilot binding Honeycomb Bravo. According to discord other people has issue with autopilot rolling over aircraft. Developer seems still clueless. Last patch changed nothing for me. Given that I still own unfinished E-jet I'm vey frustrated with FSS. I do not have any issue like that with any of tuboliners I own like Fenix, PMDG, TFDi, Leonardo, Just flight and etc 😞

Appreciate this probably doesn’t help you but I haven’t had any issues with the autopilot using the WT 530. The 727 is pretty much the only thing I fly these days and other than making sure to avoid WASM crashes by restarting the flight after first load it’s been rock solid for me.

By the sounds of things the PMS/TDS integration is causing issues.

From an endless amount of fresh brandnew YouTube videos hyping this top-notch AAA study-level masterpiece.

edit: Looks like this info comes from EVERY single YouTuber and real 737-pilot on YouTube who has tested this masterpiece. 😉

But because I also love this gorgeous new retro tri-jet freighter that was released this summer, I have now written to simflight.de who has mentioned this little bug here in their online 727 review because unfortunately no one in any YouTube video is pulling that horn cutoff switch.... so I cannot see if this small glitch is already fixed or not. Really need to know before buying if this is fixed to get the finest retro-Boeing experience currently available for the sim. (Of course the JustFlight RJ Professional that is currently work in progress looks outstanding too and is pure joy for every retro fan, I am sure they will make a cargo version of this release too.

I have not tested with 530 I did couple flight with CIVA which went fine, until one of the flights HSI froze right after the take off.

I have not touched CIVA since last two updates. There were some reported problems on discord from other, but I have neve experienced them myself.

Other than that FM improved greatly. It's really joy hand flying it. However, due to autopilot problem long hauls are out of question. So as of right now I parked 727 until hopefully someday developers hopefully sort autopilot problems. Also I heard FSS plan to implement native FMC. May be after that all autopilot issues will be solved!
