It's not GSX for sure, we are still waiting for the SDK (to be released today, in theory) like everybody else. Of course, if the MSFS 2024 SDK will have new features that would make our passengers working better and/or more efficiently, we'll use them and/or integrate with its native system, if it makes sense. October 22, 20241 yr I’d like to have glass jetways wherever I want as I’d like to see the PAX walking to/from the aircraft. Don’t care about realism for this aspect. I know they are walking in 2020, just can’t see them in the jetways except when they clip through. If we don’t have the option to see the PAX cause of non-transparent jetways being the only option I’d rather they not get rendered at gates with jetways at all. Save a few CPU cycles… "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

I have maybe 7 flights now and no issues so far, thanks! I do have one question though: sometimes the GSX menu appears immediately after flight launches to the departure location and does not require hitting the GSX on the toolbar initially. That's great just didn't expect it. This happened twice, the other 5 times I did hit the GSX toolbar button and all was well. That's the way mine always launches. Hit the "READY TO FLY" button, I'm immediately in the VC with the GSX menu expanded. Bit strange that it doesn't always do it for you ... Bit strange that it doesn't always do it for you ... The last two times did post reinstall, but the first four needed to be started w/ the GSX button. Maybe Umberto can shed some light on this. Maybe it learned something or maybe it behaves differently depending on which plane launches I have no idea. Anyway it seems to be working better now thankfully. l I'm about to start flight #8 so we'll see if it is also there spontaneously when the flight launches. Umberto made a major point that the first time it's opened the GSX on the MSFS toolbar is hit, but after that not to use that button again. I don't recall him mentioning that the menu should spontaneously appear as you describe is normal for you and has happened the last two times for me. Pre reinstall this happened but fairly rarely. Is it by design that if GSX initialization proceeds 'normally' that GSX Main Menu will be open immediately upon launching to the VC at a departure airport, so that there would be no need to hit the GSX button on the MSFS toolbar? As I've said in one of my first answers when I tried to explain the menu, if a Toolbar menu is closed, there's no way to open it, unless you open it manually. On the other hand, if you left it active when going back to the Main menu, MSFS itself will show it again on the next flight. This is all MSFS standard behavior. I've been using a comm folder add in called 'NoHandleBar' and I think it makes the MSFS toolbar disappear until you mouse hover over it it's been so long I forget what it's for. So maybe MSFS standard behavior isn't in this area. I was just curious about why sometimes it's there at VC launch and other times not. The main thing is the major startup annoyance seems resolved now post reinstall of GSX. That's a completely different thing, it's the behavior of the toolbar itself. What I was referring to as default MSFS behavior, is re-opening a menu on a new flight session which was left open (but not disabled) when returning to the main menu.
