November 20, 20241 yr OK, I got things working. Someone in another thread suggested unplugging my yoke and stuff and that allowed me to type! Got through the signup and got to the main menu. Logged out, reactivated my stuff and relaunched the sim and everything went smoothly. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of the window covers... November 20, 20241 yr I'm sorry but I'm not hopping through special hoops just to start/sign in to a game. This is beyond rediculous. How something in this shape is allowed out the door is unfathomable. I requested a refund of my $219 from steam. Perhaps someday I'll reconsider if and when it ever works.
December 22, 20241 yr My keyboard seems to "deactivate" when trying to connect XBOX to Steam as part of the MSFS2024 run process. Any ideas ? Thanks !

To any others with this issue on the Deck: I went into Desktop Mode, opened Steam, started MSFS 2024, then when I got to the unresponsive green login button, I pressed Alt+Enter (I happened to be docked at the time). The game switched from full screen to a window, and the button then turned white when clicked, and I could log in. Once I was logged in once, future starts did not prompt me, and I could run it in Game Mode like normal.
