And no it won’t start via CTRL-E either. There is a bug with the 172 G1000 though; Default 172 has the white map circle and you cant have hdg up. When you select it, it changes to north up. Track up is working as intended Yes, this is an issue with the aircraft electrical setup, and not the avionics, we recommend to report it on the forums (same for the caravan) From Working Title discord. November 25, 20241 yr I can start the classic 172 without troubles. So don't know what's wrong on your side. Anyway I confirm an electrical problem as the GNS530 never stays off. Surprisingly, the GNS430 is on.
November 25, 20241 yr Just confirming that you can start the Cessna 172 with the analog (steam) gauges?
November 25, 20241 yr I have the same issue, the cessna 172 classic (with steam gauges) won't start. It was the first aircraft I tried, and have revisited it a few times but sofar I could not get the engine to start, not even with CTRL-E. The Cessna 172 G1000 is fine, no problems there. November 27, 20241 yr Same issue here. They need to fix this ASAP. This plane is a key one for many aspiring Pilots. And existing ones 😎
November 28, 20241 yr The fact that a plane as basic and core to flying is broken at this level shows you that quality control was nonexistent on this project. Not that it isn’t painfully obvious to all by now. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

Not that it isn’t painfully obvious to all by now. I think it was more to do with sticking to a pledge to release it on a specific day and time. "Two weeks, be sure" is annoying for the customers but arguably a better strategy for a developer spinning plates. November 29, 20241 yr What? The C172 Classic that works on MSFS2020, the same... doesn't work in MSFS2024. Pfffff. One more disappointment. One more think to put on the pile. I thought initially that it was on my side only. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/cessna-172-classic-electrical-systems-not-functioning/666791 Vincent B.
