What Happened To Bush Trips and Flight Plans In 2024?

Featured Replies

I have looked for them without success...even tried to add to my

Custom Content without success...any plans known to bring them

back?

Flag the topic as MSFS2024

CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D  RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090
Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

Both are gone. No way to save a flight and no convenient way to enjoy the new rocks.

There is sort of a flight planner from the map (TAB ) key. Or click EFB. Built in. It's all I need for GA.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Flightplanning goes through the EFB, just do a little Youtube search, you'll find plenty.
In the EFB you can save/load them (or load up a flightplan made outside FS2024).

the route and fly the flight plan?....

Usually by activating the Nav or GPS on AP

Hey everyone,

I know I’m probably a bit late jumping into this thread, but I wanted to share something I’ve been working on. I’ve just added MSFS 2024 flight plans for each leg of the 2020 bush trips to my navlog site. You can download the .pln files, load them into the EFB, and fly the trips one leg at a time. Check it out here:

https://msfsbushnavlog.com/

On top of that, I’m currently working on adding the World Tour trips created by gamer4805, which you can find on flightsim.to. Parts 1 and 2 are already up on my site, and I’ll have the other two parts posted soon. Here’s the link to Part 1 on flightsim.to for reference:

https://flightsim.to/file/18324/world-sightseeing-tour-bush-trips-part-1

Hope some of you find this useful—happy flying!

If you are interested in real world airstrips at least in North America check out this organization.

They have a page with a searchable map of all the back country airstrips.  Requires a free account to use all the features.  If you use Foreflight you can upload to that app or otherwise use Google Earth.
