BlackBox 711 FSL A321 CEO Preview and Interview

True - however there are certain features/simulation on Fenix that some A320 type rated pilots have speculated to be not correct. I am certainly not A320 type rated pilot so I won't know the difference but there are some features that I don't like on Fenix.

So in other words we should not take your word as "Gospel" and to not be taken seriously. Just pure speculation based on some so called RW pilots with an opinion on entertainment products. That is exactly what they are entertainment to have an idea what the real AC should maybe behave but they are not really that accurate.

  • So much carry-on here.  Seems a lot of people didn't like what Blackbox711 had to say, so find all sorts of false narratives to say about him.  "Doesn't like the platform" - he's mentioned f

Settle down, pal. People on this board are constantly posting about what real world pilots say/think about various products. And in the end it's always subjective. No need to flame the guy.

I'm here chilling enjoying the end of my Thanksgiving U.S. holiday on a Sunday evening and laughing at most of these post. No flaming anyone but take these thread as serious as you want.

So according to Blackbox, the FSLabs doesn't float in the flare like the Fenix. I get that some view MSFS like a visual showcase and nothing more, so these people will prefer the Fenix with its superior textures. However, the prerelease version of the FSLabs is already a more accurate simulation than any Fenix product.

Well done.

Of course he was always going to say that. Even a guy called it earlier on in this thread. Another pilot even said he floated and had to push forward on the stick. Just reading forums including this well the general concensus is that FSLabs really have not done things much differently and its not going to be a popular buy. He even said it feels more alive than the Fenix while other pilots say different. Wait for some of the other pilots V1 for instance then you will get a better feeling of what is best.

Which other pilots have reviewed this plane?

This seems like a P3D port - even with the visuals - with some added nice-to-have features like MEL and GPS jamming added to it. Even if the rest was as well simulated as in P3D (and that's not a guarantee, FSL has to work with the same MSFS limits as everybody... by the way did they say something about WX radar? Haven't watched all of the stream), that's not really enough to make me buy it. Pardon the sexistic analogy, but that would feel like leaving your smart and beautiful girlfriend for a slightly smarter, but severely less beautiful girl.

No WXR. They said they have an idea on how to make a realistic WXR but didn't elaborate.

Its like you've not read what I put. Another pilot even said he floated and had to push forward on the stick referencing Blackbox. The only other streamer I know yet to stream it is V1.

At what point in my post I said that? I myself do not take advice from people who claim to be IRL pilots on internet. The above statement I made was from people I know personally who fly A320 IRL.

I get banning people for malware mentions but sounds come on.

It's not the FSLABS team banning, if you look at their forum they are pretty open to feedback and criticism (that thread about the a321 ceo its mostly people complaining). People were banned in the stream due to how horribly strict Blackbox711 is...His German roots maybe? He probably told the mods to just ban everyone because thats what they always do. Even in normal days. I'm perma banned from his channel since years for no significant reason lol..

There was another streamer who was streaming Fslabs A321 - He is also A320 type rated pilot who flies for one of the airline in UK. You can check him out here - https://www.twitch.tv/flyboyaviation

Your original post said nothing about V1, but that's irrelevant, since he has not streamed it.

So you actually meant that another pilot commented on Blackbox711's stream without actually trying it themselves? Their opinion is worth less than the toilet paper I use to wipe my a**.

If you think that V1 will have a negative opinion about the FSLabs A321 in terms of its system simulation or flight model, then you will be disappointed. V1 has always loved FSLabs products and mentioned a while ago that he preferred FSLabs in X-Plane to the Fenix when it comes to hand flying and systems depth. They are just better at those things than Fenix.

I know that it was his mods. His stream is never that bad from what I've seen.

Yes it did. "Wait for some of the other pilots V1 for instance then you will get a better feeling of what is best." The other pilot's are testers just not allowed to stream at the minute. V1 is not bias is what I am getting at. To quote what V1 said "And everyone said I glazed the Fenix smh" I know he gave it praise and negatives. Blackbox did the same but now hes back testing FSLabs aircraft the bias is real.
