BlackBox 711 FSL A321 CEO Preview and Interview

Hey that guy said a thing, so this other thing must be really bad.
Oh no, this one spools down .5 seconds slower than the other one, it must be for the casuals.

Amazing how people just want to put down anything and everything.

The reality is that between Toliss, Fenix and FSLabs we are looking at all high-fidelity simulation across the board.
Sure, each of them may have one feature or characteristic that's different to the others. At this point it's splitting hairs.
The fact that we have three to choose from is fantastic, and whatever one you pick is going to do you well.

Think about this - if even real world type-rated pilots can't seem to make up their minds then doesn't that tell you just how close they all are?

Having said that I'd be curious what V1 thinks, but that's purely my own preferred source of opinion.

Yes it did. "Wait for some of the other pilots V1 for instance then you will get a better feeling of what is best." The other pilot's are testers just not allowed to stream at the minute. V1 is not bias is what I am getting at.

That wasn't in your original post. You edited it in.

I look forward to V1's stream.

Not my problem.

Lets be real here V1 is a Fenix lover and Blackbox711 is a FS Labs lover. Lets get that straight they are or were RW A320 pilots Blackbox711 has not flown an A320 in 6 months and now fles the 787, V1 still flies the A320 currently.

V1 stated that FSLabs in X-Plane is a better simulation compared to the Fenix. Some of that is down to the platform, but not all of it. All of the other highly regarded 3rd party devs have managed to deliver a significantly better flight model in MSFS than Fenix. It should be no surprise that FSLabs is better in this regard.

I'm sure V1 will echo the sentiments of BB when he reviews it.

I really liked what I saw, it won't be an immediate purchase as I have Toliss and Fenix but I'll keep an eye on how it evolves.

I'm confused on this one. I thought FSLabs was P3D only? It's been years since V1 streamed P3D. I think the last one was 3 years ago.

He has said nice things about the Tolis in XPlane. However, last week he did a stream comparing the Tolis and Fenix a321s. In that stream he said the Fenix edged out the Tolis.

Just stop right there and pump the brakes. FS Labs was never in X-Plane perhaps you meant P3D/FSX? Toliss?

Apparently Fslabs have even simulated all of the circuit breakers which is a nice feature, if using real time failures - Now that C/B check becomes very appropriate as part of pre-flight scan in order avoid any nasty surprises later.

Huh what?, are you mixing up sims and aircraft add-ons? FSLabs have never made airliners for X-Plane.. maybe you meant P3D.

In any case, V1's latest thorough review of the Fenix A321 in MSFS 2024 vs Toliss 321 in X-Plane is here and his conclusions are also equally clear: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/656372-v1-simulations-rates-fenix-higher-than-toliss/#findComment-5262017

And the latest V1 has said about the Fenix in MSFS vs FSL in P3D is here: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/656372-v1-simulations-rates-fenix-higher-than-toliss/#findComment-5262716

I look forward to V1's review of the FSL in MSFS when he gets around to it.

At least to me, if the visual fidelity was a non-factor then FSL's systems and flight dynamics feature set and fidelity would have to surpass Fenix's by a non-trivial margin for me to even consider their CEO (or NEO for that matter). From all what I'm seeing, that does not appear to be the case, but waiting to learn/see more.

They're all simulated in the Fenix too.  Go pull the 115V-80hz CB and watch your EFB stop charging.

Don't you just love how some people ignore the capabilities of the Fenix. I find it non Flattering.

BB was just being biased. He even mentioned on the stream about GSX integration that hes never seen before pretty funny since its just like Fenix.

Lets be blunt about this he does not like the MSFS platform but steams it 90% of the time LOL.

I don't quite get it, really.  It's far and away the best airliner for MSFS2020/24.
