  • So much carry-on here.  Seems a lot of people didn't like what Blackbox711 had to say, so find all sorts of false narratives to say about him.  "Doesn't like the platform" - he's mentioned f

Did they just copy paste the P3D textures? Looks like it.

Looks like it, yes. The cockpit looks poor compared to Fenix. Hard pass for me...

Blackbox initially said something about decreased quality textures because of the streaming but to me this stills looks like a 1:1 copy of what I remember from my P3D Days with the FSLabs A32x product line.

I love BB but this is a very pedestrian stream as none of the devs have much of note to say. I’d be asking about their journey since the end of the P3D era, trying to flesh out the challenges of transitioning to MSFS etc  Randazzo might be the king of the word salad but he is way more engaging at this sort of thing when I’ve seen him on streams in the past

I struggle to see a big breakthrough for FSL when there’s a decent A321 Neo from ini in ‘24 and the Fenix is a nicely mature product in both platforms. This looks decent enough but is there anything we don’t really have in the Fenix?

I would rather ask, if Fenix is going to add the features of the FSL into their current A320ceo family? If they do, there would be really no reason to change, if you desire that feature of the FSL at all.

Yea, I really don't quite get it. Am I missing something, there seems to be very little new here -- some ability for icing and GPS jamming -- is that all? It seems to look, perform and behave basically the same as the Fenix. I can not see myself even considering buying something I already have in order to simulate deicing and GPS jamming -- something I don't really want anyway. Honest question thought, am I missing something?

Just, hang on, Blackbox just said he'll compare in-flight. I bet he will mention, that the FSL flare is much better and not that floaty.

I scrolled through quickly and heard the Discord notification sound about 12 times now, making me check my Discord icon. God that's annoying.

Concorde after the Airbus line... what a bummer...

FSLabs just said that on stream? To be honest, it makes sense from a business standpoint. Nobody is doing a study level Concorde for MSFS, so FSLabs can take their time. FSLabs is in a race to do the study level Airbuses before another developer does it (ie. Fenix).  This assumes FSLabs has enough cash flow that they can put off the Concorde for a later date.

This seems like a P3D port - even with the visuals - with some added nice-to-have features like MEL and GPS jamming added to it. Even if the rest was as well simulated as in P3D (and that's not a guarantee, FSL has to work with the same MSFS limits as everybody... by the way did they say something about WX radar? Haven't watched all of the stream), that's not really enough to make me buy it. Pardon the sexistic analogy, but that would feel like leaving your smart and beautiful girlfriend for a slightly smarter, but severely less beautiful girl.

BB just switched to wing view that showed a bit of the passenger cabin, that looked like straight port from P3D unlike Fenix. Honestly so far, looks like really very hard justification to buy this, especially if you are owning the awesome Fenix

Typical FSL. They are no where as humble as Fenix and Aamir. Just look how awesome their trailer is
