December 8, 20241 yr stuck on checking for updates? Supposedly there is a "trick" to disconnect your network (wired/wireless) while it's on checking for updates and it should give you an offline error and then keep loading. If that doesn't work not sure what else unless you also updated your Nvidia drivers as some people are having issues with 566.36 Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
