Wow.  The incompetence of Asobo & MS is staggering, shameful, and should be embarrassing. I had reservations about people being so critical but now it’s simply deserved. I think a new te

  • I guess they need to change the batteries again on their Radio Shack Servers. 😉

  • Sama vika täälläkin Suomessa. FS2020 ei toimi. Jää olemattomien päivitysten hakuun. Same problem here in Finland. FS2020 doesn't work. I'm stuck searching for non-existent updates.

Okay, this was my only chance to do a flight this week. This is bad. This is really bad.

I’m flying in 2020 but I started a long flight early this morning.  2020 is working fine but I think checking for updates is code for “servers are full.”  This needs to be fixed.  Microsoft is the largest tech company in the world and they can’t figure out to fix servers or give enough server space.  Unacceptable!

...but MS shareholders must be happy anyway

Apparently, this is a world wide issue.

Disconnect wifi then reconnect gets me thru. But bandwidth issues still there.

Keeps getting switch to off line mode.

Just fired up MSFS2020 to check, spent maybe a minute on the INSTALLATION MANAGER screen - Checking for Updates and loaded normally after that. Seems OK here.

I've been in and out of MSFS24 a few times in the past hour, including a reinstall and it all went fine. Maybe a localised issue with servers.

(Edit: Sorry just saw the 2020 tag.....🤦‍♂️)

In ways you can't imagine.

The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

Works fine here (Finland).

There was even a surprise waiting when the sim (2020) loaded.

Finally PMDG released the 3.0.108 update for the 737.

WOHOO !!!

I do not have a problem getting past the update screen, but I think that MSFS 2020 is taking longer to load today. However, all of my flights have been perfectly fine. No performance or bandwidth issues.

FS2020 a non starter here. Endless update checker. Then loading takes 15 minutes and crashes the sim. This is totally unacceptable. Have been shut out all day. Shockingly bad by Asobo. Are they stealing bandwidth for FS2024? What an absolute shower. I don't care about the "compensation" of new aircraft. Is a pointless apology. Get the server running please. Appalling mismanagement.

Edit: Now working after ALL DAY of not working. As a precaution I uninstalled or removed 3/4 of my community folder content - needlessly, thinking an addon was at fault. None of them were. I don't mind the odd glitch but this is getting ridiculous. NOT A SINGLE one of my other sims, both flight and racing, have EVER, EVER presented even one minute of outage. FS2020/FS2024 are my only software apps that have this issue.

If you release software that has an online element it needs to work flawlessly, without exception.
