Have been shut out all day. Shockingly bad by Asobo. Are they stealing bandwidth for FS2024? That is exactly what I think they are doing.

I loaded 2020 twice this morning and just now, and was fully loaded in about 2.5 minutes just as always. I’m not saying there is not something going on, but it is not affecting this area. Oh yeah, Elmira, I pass you on the way to Watkins Glen, beautiful area!! Agreed, as far as the Northeast goes MSFS has actually seemed to be running better than ever other than some slow loading textures at one point on my last flight but even that was only for a minute or two. I’m also in the northeast and flew a 6 plus hour flight from JFK to DUB and it worked 100% fine and was smooth throughout. That is not an excuse though because we should not be experiencing this at all. This is unacceptable that a product we spent money on is being taken over by a newer product that’s not ready.

No doubt there is some kind of issue, but it is not happening everywhere. It probably depends on which specific servers you connect to during the log-in/initialization process. December 7, 20241 yr I could not load 2020 earlier today and my servers are in Seatlle area. I did load 2024 and finally flew the Max 8 reasonably well. Still a few bugs, however, it is growing on me. Microsoft is doing an awful job of providing the necessary bandwidth for the products, they sell. Shame on them.
December 8, 20241 yr Just now, it took 35 seconds for searching for updates to complete and move on to successful boot up 2020. Western USA server is where I live. It usually takes about 10 seconds. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. December 8, 20241 yr I have 0 delays in booting up 2024 at least dozens of times. Except the first 2 hours on day 1 release of 2024. Everything in 2024 loads so much swifter and snappier than 2020 every time. Including scenery in the distance loading. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. December 8, 20241 yr I thought I was the one with the issue and ended up reinstalling the simulator. Once I get pass the updates, the flight is not loading. It’s been stuck for 25 minutes. Not sure if I am the problem or the server.
