December 7, 20241 yr Hello guys, For about 3-4 months I struggle with very annoying issue I got in msfs 2020. Mainly I am having problem with screens/displays mostly on Fenix a32x. When panning around the cockpit, and also when zooming in/out I see that displays are skintillating/jerking. I’ve done a lot of testing, even I reinstalled my whole system within updating to Windows 11. This issue is only when I use Frame Generation option(The native one in msfs settings) BUT when I installed the nexus mod for frame gen I noticed that this issue gone. But I want to stick with the native one because of less ghosting. I will upload in game settings in while. I also noticed that if I have around 45-55 fps in fps display(developer mode) the issue is not as much as I am at inibuilds Heathrow with Vatsim FSLTL model matching and gsx(boarding). PC Spec. RTX 4070 SUPER I7 10700k running at 4.9 MHz 32 GB of ram running 3200 MHz resolution 1080p temps. are very good when running the sim. I don’t have big knowledge about PC builds etc. But any of my CPU Core is not reaching 100%. I have turned Motion blur to ultra and bloom to on in the sim and that result in issue had gone but only if I have default airport, when I switch to other airports such as fly Tampa Amsterdam I am getting it back. Link that presents MSFS Settings and issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/flightsim/s/HbxBo8fLGM Guys please help me resolve this problem. Thanks in advance!
December 8, 20241 yr I don't think I can help with that other than to mention I'm also troubled by graphic aberrations or anomalies when I use NV DLSS Frame Generation and consequently I rarely use it. I don't know what the 'Nexus Mod' is you mention but I know using NV Super Resolution + DLAA solves a lot of this except for the ghosting of characters in glass cockpits. I will do when conditions are right is to use TAA with FG and as long as it's very low contrast outside it's fine and of course then no ghosting. So I selectively use FG, and maybe only 10% of all flights I will use FG. So for me native frame rate lock set to 45fps is the typical use of my hardware which affords the best possible image quality, free of any anomalies, amazing crispness and clarity but at that lower frame rate. Quite honestly 45 is decent if not ideal. I don't feel any wanting to get back to the 60 or 70fps I get when I use FG again because of image quality is not matched when FG is used. Plus, I have a 2nd screen and FG introduces a pretty nasty judder when you move focus back and forth between main and secondary screens. December 8, 20241 yr Author Thanks for the reply Noel, Basically, the Nexus mod is the AMD replacement for NV Frame Gen. Its for users with non RTX 40x Series Graphic cards. I would like to stay with the frame gen because I love to have more FPS, especially that there is an option to set it up correctly.

December 8, 20241 yr Try disabling Vsync, just do a frame rate limiter? Maybe there's some interaction between that and the FG, causing the flicker. December 8, 20241 yr Try vsync on in msfs and off in the nvidia settings and vsync off in msfs and on in the nvidia settings. I found one of these worked and one didn't, can't remember which now, so try both. December 8, 20241 yr Author Thanks for all the replies guys, I really appreciate that. I will test it soon and I will give feedback if that was fixed. Edited December 8, 20241 yr by Oliwier G
December 8, 20241 yr Oliwier G, I get this when using native FG too. The benefits of native FG being so massive, I just shrug off the issue you complain of as being no big deal. When I quit panning and zooming, everything is great again. So to me, I hardly care a fig about it. 2020 is excellent in so many to me far more important ways, especially when using native FG. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Thats not that issue, your issue is also fixed by clicking Alt+Eneter 2 times and is fixing that too.

December 9, 20241 yr That is a symptom of VRAM going out. Check VRAM usage in dev mode and lower texture resolution
