As for the Brunner, I love it and the benefit for you is you can literally tune the Yoke forces to what you are used to feeling in the real things...  The forces are variable and can be tuned so the Yoke force required with a hydraulic failure becomes greatly increased if you have everything set up properly. 

Steffan will work with you 1:1 as well.  Personally I am a geek and like watching the yoke follow the A/P LOL

Hi Howard,

Throttletek.  It's the 737 but in brown as at the time I got it I was exclusively flying the 777 and it was the only model available so i asked them to do it in brown with backlighting.  🙂 

They have lots of options now and are not cheap but man, mine has to be a good 6 or 7 years old and been problem free and the one time I did email in they responded in about 10 minutes. It's a quality unit.  

Edit:  I just looked and I bought it in 2013!!!  I may have still been using the LVL-D in FS9 LOL!!!

I would actually love the 767 unit, it's a 1:1 replica!

New kid on the block here had my eyes on for some time. Affordable and customers seem very happy

I thought you might like the 787 and the 747 😂. All metal unit with molded ABS handles.  It's a pretty robust unit! Mine doesn't have mounting holes but knowing Roberto he can do it if you like.

I seem to remember hovering over buying that 747 throttle before.

I’ll see if the ProDeskSim throttle handles turn out to be any good, if I’m not happy with them I’ll look at that throttletek 787 throttle I think.

The main reason for ordering the ProDeskSim 787 handles is they have realistic correctly placed TOGA buttons.

I refuse to use the TOGA button on the default bravo as it’s a light aircraft setup and is positioned where the A/T disconnect is on the 787. You can imagine I fly go arounds in my sim more often than in my real aircraft, so if I develop muscle memory for pressing the Bravo TOGA ….you can imagine the mess that could make of my day 😵‍💫

Honeycomb Bravo works out of the box with PMDG planes.

@jon b, be aware that Chris Tutthill of Fulcrum is back in business and is close to releasing his Throttle Quadrant with six levers. It’s a high quality unit.

Regarding the GoFlight MCP Pro, software is available from Steve at Pollypot that is configured for the 737 / 777 for MSFS.

I have a pre-production TQ and the GF MCP Pro working with P3D if you’re interested in having a look.

I have Chris’s email and phone number if you want to chat with him.

Thanks Ray, I’ll keep an eye out for Chris’ throttle when it’s released. Hopefully there’ll be a show this year and he’ll be exhibiting.

I think for now I’ll see how I get on with adding the ProDeskSim handles to my existing Bravo, it gives me the flexibility to quickly swap between 74,78,and GA light twin setups.

I’ll wait for the winwing MCP to get released and most probably go down that route.

I must say I’ve been amazed when looking around by the variety and quality of peripherals now available for flight simulation.

Ah, thanks for the heads up Ray. This is great news! TBH I had forgotten about Chris's throttle. As you know, I am a supporter of the guy, so this is good news. I have always had my sights on this. I'll keep my eyes on progress. Cheers.

Very impressed however if I was doing something today I would want to ensure it had Hall Sensors...  That would be a requirement at these price points, not so much in 2013 LOL 

Man, isn't it something to be in a nice friendly chat on Avsim where people are respectful and address each other by name, it feels sort of strange 😉

I like to do my research LOL.  

Not just High end sim peripherals, some of the people I've been lucky enough to interact with at the race tracks and in the paddock are some of the most fascinating individuals I know, from the Pro Drivers to the Gentleman Drivers.  It's quite a humbling experience to just listen to them and take it all in...  I've learned so many incredible life lessons and broken so many pre-conceived notions there it's fascinating.
