All three are in daily use by me and many others and the data they use from Navigraph is current. Just because you can’t buy them any more doesn’t make them dead. It is no longer supported or updated, and for anyone keeping up with the times, it either won’t be usable soon or already isn’t compatible with the latest simulators and add-ons. If someone is still a fan of Internet Explorer 6, they are welcome to keep using it on Windows XP. However, since it’s a dead platform, it cannot be installed on a modern OS or used to open state-of-the-art websites. It was a one time charge as opposed to a yearly subscription. I have a feeling that most users created the flight with simbrief, then loaded the flightplan into Avilasoft. MSFS

I looked at this EFB a few times in the past but couldn't get passed the fake charts. I prefered real charts like from Navigraph. Nowadays I only look at the MSFS2024 LODI charts every now and then but more often I don't check charts at all anymore... I only fly the Vision Jet and the G3000 offers everything I need to know. If you don't bother to check charts, you probably don't need an EFB anyway. Not my way to fly, but different strokes for different folks as the saying goes.

Why do you have such a downer on a piece of software you've never tried? It was highly praised when it came out. I've been using it for 11 years and nothing better was produced. One of the nicest features of Avliasoft is when flying into an airport, you can easily see the wind, active runways, Stars, and transitions. You don't have to juggle with different pages of charts, just select runway, star, and transition and see how it looks. Don't like it, select another. This is a royal PIA if you have to look at different charts.

I think it's not that hard to chose your own. MSFS

I was just stating what is (imho) a fact, that people often like what they are used to and don't like changes. It wasn't meant as an attack to this particular app itself. I know a lot of people love it and still use it.

I think it's not that hard to chose your own. Flying into an airport, and ATC gives you approach, star and transition, and then a wind shift occurs, which requires a new runway, and approach. This is real life flying. Try that , single pilot, juggling a bunch of charts and approaches.

In the MSFS2024 I let BATC tell me which procedures to use and then I can load all the assigned procedures I entered into the G3000 into the MSFS2024 EFB with just one click which automatically shows me all (and only!) the relevant charts. No need to juggle with anything. It's not realistic to figure out procedures on your own anyway.
