For sure there are supported alternatives out there that offer similar functionality. Moving on is generally a good approach when it comes to technology. Aivlasoft was only sold through its own web site thus limiting its already low profile market visibility, and this is really a pity since it was far easier (for me) to use than any other existing similar software, with a well thought out and clear UI. Cost-wise it was also a real bargain compared with Navigraph (although it used its AIRAC updates) and offered essentially the same information. I still use it (MSFS 2020) on a separate PC and screen and makes taxi, take off and arrival planning so much easier, re-routing or changing a STAR on the fly in particular. If people are still using all three how can they be dead? Dead applies to something that no longer works. All three are in daily use by me and many others and the data they use from Navigraph is current. Just because you can’t buy them any more doesn’t make them dead. Ray (Cheshire, England). Urs, like all of us, was getting older and that, combined with reduced sales, made it uneconomical to continue support. It’s a real pity the forum was lost but those of us who still use it love what it does. Ray (Cheshire, England). It's dead for those who are using a newer sim which isn't supported anymore by the addon for whatever reason.

For that reason I decided not to even try it. 😀 I fly G1000 or G3000 equipped aircraft. I use my external tablet for added realism and I already have access to charts from FltPlan & the FS2024 Planner. I was just wondering why this ap is so beloved. Congrats to those who took advantage of it when it was available and happy flying. MSFS

I looked at this EFB a few times in the past but couldn't get passed the fake charts. I prefered real charts like from Navigraph. Nowadays I only look at the MSFS2024 LODI charts every now and then but more often I don't check charts at all anymore... I only fly the Vision Jet and the G3000 offers everything I need to know. January 21, 20251 yr Moderator @CFIJose, why not install it and then see what happens after 30 days. Urs may have turned off the trial period given he wouldn't be losing a sale.
