Successfully downloaded the FSLTL update in the end, went ahead with the WU and then did a flight with no issues barring a few stutters out of Dubai (which seems the norm of late out of this airport, maybe scenery related). Granted it was a short flight but it went normally.

trying it again now. Did you run update or uninstall reinstall? how long did it take?

I didn't update FSLTL and 2020 has crashed a few times already.

IMO: its not FSLTL at least for me.

Apparently it is not FSLTL either, CTD at the same place  in the flight, different airport, that it did the other day, when about to get on ILS.  Darn.. I also uninstalled the Brazil  update, so it isn't that either.

Yes.  At my end too. It aborted shortly before finishing the download. I restarted at then it walked through without any issues noticeable.

But I see CTD at my end and I have not installed Brazil wu19. 

No other changes at my end, only FSLTL.

Onlly other thing that updated was BATC, I am on experimental. I just switched to early access which should be more stable. 

Maybe MSFS2020 has some server based issues again and that's why it gets unstable? We had that some months back also ...and there I have gotten headaches from searching at my computer....and after reading at MSFS2020 forums I saw reports and statements it is a server issue....

How can we rule out it is "our" or "their" end?

11 hours into a flight right now with no issues, don't use FSLTL and never installed Brazil.  

Sim seems as stable as ever, I've done probably 40 hours of real time flights in 2020 the past 4 days LOL.

Installed Brazil? And YOU used  FSLTL or not?

Well thankfully I have both sims installed and have been flying 2024 more often. No CTDs yet. Its been weeks of flying, too. 

2020 is still great especially for our airliners we refuse to dismiss until 24 compatability is solid. But after a few CTDs in a row it just frustrats me.

Come to the light of the force! We have cookies! And no CTDs!

The update failed, which automatically deleted it, but the reinstall only took about 5 minutes!

if its ctd at the same spot every time than its scenery related
