I'm looking for recommendations for good medium-sized airports in Asia for download, freeware or payware. I'm not really interested in the mega hubs, but the airports should have at least one 8000' runway. Any good scenery options out there? Off the beaten path, unusual, or just nice renditions preferred. Thanks.

I’m also interested in this…haven’t flown there much but would like to see recommendations from those who do for MSFS 2024 for me

There are several. Look in Myramar, Tibet, China ( there are many chinese airports that have interesting approaches. I have flown in to places like Kunnming etc) Penang in Malaysia, Phuket in Thailand, Scratch around using LNP & have a look at the geography of the places that interest you. I tend to prefer islands & places near oceans for good scenery.

Anything from WFSceneryStudios (ZBAA, ZSPD, VHHH etc.) or SiamFlight (VTBS or VTBD etc.) is very high quality.

Check out RPVM - Mactan Cebu Airport in the Philippines by Cloudsurf Asia. 

Thanks for the suggestions... I'm slowly building a virtual route map of city pairs ("virtual airline" is much too grandiose) consisting of airports in Asia that can accommodate bigger jets, but aren't major hubs, and are all interesting airports. "Interesting" here means some combination of well done scenery and/or entertaining departure and arrival procedures. City pairs all all <2 hours apart, so the flights can be completed in one sitting after the kids have gone to bed and the significant other is busy watching TV, lol.

Why Asia? Because I like to fly with real-time traffic and weather, and I like to fly in the daytime; I can't do that in the evenings here in the USA. So it's off to Asia I go.

What about Technobrain?  Looking at their RJJJ right now for the Suzuka F1 flight from ZSPD 🙂   KIX looks like the best bet for airfields close to Suzuka.

I have to say following F1 in MSFS is opening me up to exploring some great new areas I've never been to in the sim before.  

Grab yourself some of the Samscene3D packs if you want good scenery! Some aren’t 2024 compliant yet so check compatibility. I have them all. Sanya and Xiamen are great Chinese coastal cities and you get airports along with custom buildings and POI’s.

Not top notch and absurdly priced (at least that was the case on P3D). I have RJBB and it's solid, but not something I "like" to fly to.

Thank you!  I may just end up with DD RJAA and do a short hop down to Suzuka LOL  

ZSPD was great!  Holy cow that place is big LOL  It's like two giant airports had a mega airport baby.
