Pilot's 2NC0 is pretty nice (windhover did a freeware one as well)

UK2000 has done some nice USA GA fields

Astralis Studios - ditto

Dreamflight, almost forgot them!  They have some excellent bizprop/jet destinations!

FlightFX has DPA and PWK - decent fields too!

There's probably more I'm missing

 

My go-to test flight is a quick jaunt from FlightFX's PWK that Ryan mentioned above, heading east under O'Hare's Bravo airspace, then south along Lake Michigan and landing at UK2000's GYY. Another popular GA airport in a busy airspace is Dreamflight's TEB, just a few minutes NNW of Manhattan.

Not in the US but lots of nice airports in New Zealand bu NZA Simulation that are perfect for GA planes

New Zealand is amazing.

For USA, you can also click on USA and sort by most downloads... some of these are ancient but like I said most work in 2024 even if it doesn't specifically say.
