Id take spiders any day of the week. Ive mentioned on here before I sold up, and moved out of North London - Islington (where I lived for 12 or so years) to the countryside some 2 hours away about 5 years ago, purely because I felt It wasnt safe anymore. The crime rate in London has rockted. I remember coming out of the gym one day and a scooter zoomed past me on the pavement and missed breaking by foot by a few inches, he was in the process of stealing somones phone in broad daylight. You see it all the time. Down the road from me on Seven Sisters Road where my missus used to live near Tottenham, there was openair drug dealing. Again broad daylight the cops couldnt care less. It was then I decided to up it and leave. Ive never looked back since. They are welcome to it. I say this to everyone I meet who is under 30 and living in the UK, you need to make a plan to get out and look at AUS,NZ, or Canada. Find someone, marry them and get the hell of dodge.
