I've been trying to buy two planes on the OrbX Central app using Paypal, but somehow Paypal now asks me to confirm my login using 4 possible choices, including the app on the smartphone, sending an SMS, sending a whatsapp message and I don't remember what else, and all option just end up in an error message and retry...

Of course on that very same computer I've already used Paypal payments many times and have no problem to login to my account. This is very strange 😕

Should also give you the option to continue using your password. It's further down and not really obvious.

This happened to me during the last Orbx sales event as well.  I finally had to give up and use a CC.  Paypal was (and still is) working fine  for me everywhere else.

Thanks for the advice. I gave it another try and checked carefully in the PayPal window, but there's nothing to enter a password after the initial logon.

To be more precise, every time I try to checkout and select the PayPal option, it asks me first to logon to PayPal with email+password, then welcomes me and tries to retrieve my payment options, then ends up showing that 4 options to validate my login. I have scrolled everything and there's no other way but to give up on PayPal and use a normal credit card number. 

I even tried clicking on the link in the confirmation window to get more info, but ended up in a endless Captcha loop...

Thanks, I guess that will also be my only option 😕

 

I used CC with one issue, charge processed but got an error item not found, spent about $2K US while stuff was still on sale, but covering multiple platforms (XP/MSFS 2024).

Trying to figure out what items was not found?

After all the complaints against Orbx for years, even in their own forum, Orbx still is chasing customers away with a terrible online app for Paypal buyers. If Orbx wanted to fix this badly enough, then they would.

I tried to buy stuff at Orbx using Paypal. Would not complete. I am not going to give out my credit card numbers over the internet. So I bought the stuff on Contrails whose selling app for Paypal actually works. So does Just Flight and SimMarket.

 

Odd about Paypal … I honestly haven’t tried PayPal.  

But Orbx GB (N,S,C) is amazing in MSFS 2024, puts default scenery to shame.
