July 11, 2025Jul 11 Don't laugh, but 2024s doing it now! The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
July 12, 2025Jul 12 Ignore that. It was something I did. No, I'm not telling you. Far too embarrassing! The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
July 13, 2025Jul 13 It’s an annoying little bug that should have been fixed once announced. It’s no one’s fault but MS/Asobo that their customers think they are running a gong show. I can’t think of any other business who would treat their customers that way.

Jack, you don't need to use Task Manager. Instead, go to Settings > System > For developers > then enable End Task. Then you can simply hover your mouse pointer over an open app to select it on the Taskbar and open up its dialogue of options, now including End Task. It's therefore a two-click action and done. Does this still happen when you empty your community folder, use without addons with stock CPU, GPU and RAM settings? There are hundreds and hundreds of complaints on the official MS forum about this issue, and Asobo said they already have a fix for that will be in the next Beta release, sometime in 2027 I guess.

Not a typo? I guess I’m dumb but I don’t understand why it can’t be fixed basically overnight. Is there any programmer on this planet who understands this? Dang, how stupid. Jack Sawyer

Already stated exactly in my first reply to you. Looks like you may be in Win 10 and according to Bobsk8 Win 10 does not offer this option.
