No one infringed on your right to do that? You seem to be hunting for something that’s not there and once again woefully missing the point Abram’s made. Why are you steering the topic into something entirely unrelated?

Yeah, I'm not debating this point and I agree with you. There are more users on PC who prefer MSFS 2020 at the moment, and I've said the SteamDB charts give a decent enough snapshot of the PC market. One thing you have to also consider is that not all planes have been ported to MSFS 2024 either. The PMDG 737 is still not MSFS 2024 compatible, the TDFi MD-11 has not been ported to MSFS 2024 yet, etc. Let's check the SteamDB charts in maybe about 6 months to 1 year, after the major add-ons have been almost all ported over to MSFS 2024. BTW, this thread is about MSFS having a great last 2 months, which means MSFS 2020 + MSFS 2024. It's not about MSFS 2024 solely, rather, it's that MSFS as a whole, has had a great last 2 months. August 1, 2025Aug 1 As always, if you are using sim X instead of Y, or one version of a sim rather than another... if the particular combination of your sim & version is not what is currently being praised or positively spoken about on a discussion forum, feel secure in what you're using without repeatedly feeling the need to come and cheerlead for your preference and/or denigrate the other choices 🙂 53 minutes ago, tpete61 said: I question what these post are for??? Fun reading for entertainment I guess. Oh look, tpete61 the wannabe moderator is once again questioning why stuff is being discussed, opinionated and posted on a discussion forum 🤣. What is your post for? Sadly the broken record nature of your tirades is not fun entertainment reading any more, so perhaps you can switch it up? Once again Bob--it works exactly as does 2020 for me, right along with SLC, BATC, GSX, I-Fly 737 MAX 8, Fenix A320, AS CRJ and Citation X is fabulous as well. 95% of my 2020 content works fine in 2024. You're imagining a far worse scenario than you will likely experience. I'll bet now far more will stick w/ 2024 than will try 2024 then go back to 2020. 2020 is fine--2024 is better, that's all. MS 2020 certainly HAS had a good period recently, at least until the su16 beta which seems to b standardising some features between the sims started worrying users. They need to keep them separate so people have a choice. Either, or indeed both. Forcing 2020 to use 2024 systems (terrain tiles) and vice versa (offline assets) is fudging both sims. Imo, leave 2020 as it is and make 2024 WORK or take the best from both and start planning 2028. At the moment Asobo have 2 sims both of which have a mostly satisfied user base. The number has steadily increased with some ups and down based on time of day or something. The other day it was 2024 was 72% of what in-game 2020 users were at that moment. Right now it's 62%. A month or more ago it was much less.
