Seems like a nothing burger... but there must be some significant bug fixes in it or they wouldn't have bothered releasing this so soon after the 580.88 release which was just 12 days ago.

if it aint broke...

I certainly agree with the not broke approach. Also, looking at the bug list, it doesn't get along with one of my major AV programs.

Somewhere along the way Nvidia screwed up the driver when popping out windows in MSFS.  I'm using 566.36 and lose only a few frames popping out multiple windows and the newer drivers tank frames when doing the same task.

I'm using a GPU driver from nearly a year ago and have wonderful performance in 2024--and it lets me use GFE filters which I prefer.  I have yet to EVER install a new GPU driver that had any meaningful impact on any flight sim in my 3 decades of use.

Tried new driver and finally finished a complete flight. First in three weeks.. three frustrating weeks in beta builds... one of the best flights I've experienced in 24 ... quick trial ksut to krdu ( both payware ) via the brade arrival, and too my surprise BATC vectored me on rnav 32.... I flew the default B58 twin.  It's been along time since I said Bravo Msfs24 and nvidia with driver update.  Bravo
