Isn’t this thread about 2024 SU 3 of I am correct ?

Don’t know what 2020 has to do with it…

The first thing I will do is take a VFR flight around Zurich and be amazed that the whole region will still be a mess, unfixed and bugged by the whole snow coverage bug. Then I will avoid flying around my home country like I did for the last four years because Asobo is a bunch of amateurs obviously not using their own product. And then I will hope that SU4 will fix those things and get disappointed again. I call it the circle of flightsim 🤣

Greetings, Chris

The first thing I will do is open my Christmas presents. It sometimes feels like SU3 will take that long to arrive!

C'mon, what matters IS we have something that makes us happy! You once loved FS 2020 too, didn't you?

2020, 2024, probably 2026 (I suspect we will have something before 2028 ...) are, after all, the same - MSFS !

There were once upon a time two French brothers who revolutionized scenery for the MS FS franchise, the Alting brothers !!! It was 1990, and FS5 was then my Dream Sim!!! (*)

ASOBO, did the same back in 2020 !!! And now I'm HAPPY again, being it 2020, 24,...

(*) And, to be fair, the Great Maurizio Gaviolli and Enrico Schiratti !!!

Enrico created the first freeware scenery for FS5, which I used and abused - Kenya !

Yes it's almost traditional to approach any new update with a "what have they broken this time?" concern, but it seems after five long years that they may actually be learning to fix more than they break.

At least that's what I'm hoping with from SU3 anyway and from general consumption of information it appears that way, of course they can't fix everything which is fair, but when obvious reported bugs go on for years it does become frustrating so I understand your viewpoint entirely.

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

I kind of get the impression that a lot of users are waiting for SU3 to drop before jumping ship. 2020'ites will become rarer and rarer until there are only a few known hangers on left, somewhere out in the woods 🤠

I take this one partially back, it seems that the photogrammetry mess around Zurich in vast parts of Switzerland is indeed silently fixed with SU3, that is really nice. Snow coverage I guess no, as it is a Asobo vs. meteoblue issue and I guess they would put it in the release notes.
