What is still lacking for you in FS2024 since SU3?

Are those "land bars" at river mouths and harbour entrances still a problem in MSFS 2024? If they are, then resolution of that issue is top of my list.

Got any pictures of that?  Not sure if you’re talking sat land imagery under water or if you talking graphics setting where quality settings allow for more gaps in the water rendering (look more like black lines).

He's talking about the latter...

2020 had them, and when 2024 launched I flew over "Southampton Water" to see if they were fixed there.  They were not.  I don't expect to see any difference in SU3 but haven't flown there yet to check.   I didn't notice anything in the release notes about this, although sometimes they tweak things here and there and don't post about it.

They are not thin black lines. They are thick "bars" that block off some river mouths and harbour entrances. Rhett has mentioned Southampton Water, and there are two of these across the northern end of this location that are directly underneath the runway 02 approach to EGHI Southampton. They look ridiculous, and they are immersion breakers for me. Asobo should have resolved this issue years ago.

I’ll take a look and see if I can see what you mean.

I have seen elevation issues that have triggered similar black bars in the water (especially around my area Portland/Oregon … keep hoping Orbx will release a cityscape for Portland and fix all the Asobo issues such as bridges, water elevation issues, etc.
