I think for MSFS the Radeon GPU's aren't generally as good but maybe things have changed. This Microcenter Power Spec computer looks pretty nice that comes with a RTX5080 16GB card and 64GB of RAM

I got a good deal last year at Costco for a Intel i9 14700 with a RTX 4080 Super with 64GB ram that i've been really happy with as well.  I didn't see it on their website

This will most likely be my last upgrade, I'm 67 and in very bad health, unfortunatly.

There are no Microcenters in upstate New York. And they won't ship most of their computers. These are all of their stores in the State of New York (all NYC area):

Yeah, I forgot they don't ship their systems.....

I just noticed that Best Buy has the system that I was looking at in the link I gave. They are only 30 minutes from where I live, If I needed service. What do you guys think?

Looks like a sweet rig, although the 9950X3D might be overkill (the consensus seems to be on the 9800X3D as the best CPU for MSFS).

That is the same pc I went with at micro center and am not looking back. The Thing is the cats meow!! Couldn't be happier!

The 9950X3D is the best CPU for all areas but you won't see any improvement in 4k compared to a 5800X3D. Put your money into the most powerful graphics card available. For example I prefer a 5800X3D with an RTX5090 than a 9950X3D or 9800X3D with an RTX5080
