September 20, 2025Sep 20 I thought I understood how, but creating a new profile for the particular plane I'm in, setting sensitivities then assigning them to the new profile doesn't stick. When I change to a different plane profile the settings don't update. Anyone have success with this? September 21, 2025Sep 21 It's totally hit & miss. I *think* the profiles are livery based - rather than aircraft based. I keep having to remember to re-apply profiles once I'm in the cockpit. The whole aircraft+liveries+profiles thing is an utter shambles - along with the rest of the brain-dead GUI, I might add.

Can you even /do/ that? I can get controls per plane to stick, but never sensitivities per plane. The latter would be kinda nice. So it's only sensitivities that don't save that's unfortunate I wonder if that is in the works to add. I'd love to be wrong though. I'm certainly no expert on MSFS2024's control profiles etc. etc., I'm still about half confused by them after 9 months of use. I thought so too until I installed Fenix A320 where for some reason my rudder control is hugely different and needs a different curve. It's not too hard to modify settings because at least you can do it w/o stopping the sim w/ the toolbar drop down control. Yes, SPAD.next allows you to set different sensitivity curves and other hardware-level adjustments per aircraft in MSFS2024 by assigning each aircraft to a custom SPAD.next profile . This provides more detailed control than the default simulator settings, enabling you to create unique input mappings and adjustments tailored for specific planes, which SPAD.next then automatically loads when you switch aircraft. How to Set Per-Plane Sensitivities with SPAD.next Create Profiles: Create custom SPAD.next profiles for each aircraft or type of aircraft you want to customize. Assign Aircraft to Profiles: Assign a specific aircraft (e.g., a Cessna 172 or a specific helicopter) to its corresponding SPAD.next profile. Adjust Sensitivity in the Profile: Within that profile, access the hardware settings for your peripherals to adjust the sensitivity, deadzones, and curves for each axis. Automatic Loading: Once assigned, SPAD.next will automatically load the correct profile and its associated sensitivity settings when you load that specific aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Personally i use the same curves for my AC as tend to stick to only 2 of the same design... but its a powerful tool for cutomization... i9 13900KF @ 5.5Ghz | MoBo MSI PRO Z690-A WiFi | Corsair Vengeance Black RGB RS 64gb DDR4 3200MHz | MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Vanguard SOC 32GB | MP33 Pro 1TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD for OS | Samsung 870 QVO 2.5" 4TB SSD SATA2 | Samsung 990 PRO 2TB | Corsair RM1000X 2021 1300W 80 Plus Gold PSU | Antec Dark Fleet DF700 Flux Gaming Case | Win 11 home | Samsung 65" 4K TV | G512 Keyboard | Razer Basilisk V2 Mouse | WinCtrl URSA MINOR 32 Throttle Metal / 32 PAC Metal | WinCtrl Ursa Minor Sidestick |Velocity One Rudder | MiniCockpit FCU and EFIS | WinCtrl MCDU | Stream Deck XL | Tobii Eye Tracker | Pimax Crystal Light | Doug

September 22, 2025Sep 22 I can confirm that the functionality of saving and reading of settings is buggy - which only adds to the confusion of how to save settings for a specific plane. Even outside of Controls, the General settings, and settings for a particular flight, are not being saved, or read, reliably. A few examples: In Settings > Assistances, if you click "Set Defaults", it instead sets all to "ON", and changes the label to "Custom" instead of "Defaults". Also, if you try to change the time of day of your flight, it will revert to Live time a minute later. And in the Controls, sometimes you'll make changes, save them, go back and the changes aren't saved. I think there is a fundamental flaw in Asobo's new database system for handling all settings - perhaps because it is linked to a "cloud save" which can itself be unreliable.
