EHAM on MSFS2024 not visible

Featured Replies

I had bought Flytampa EHAM for MSFS 2020 and try to get it work on MSFS 2024 without any success.

I have installed it via ORBX Central and it created a link, I also disabled the default EHAM under "my library" ins MSFS 2024, but the flytampa version is not even showing up under my library within MSFS. What is it that I do wrong?

Why not copy the folder into the community folder?

Where is flytampa-liberies being installed? I cannot find it in any folder.

Uninstall - and then when you reinstall from ORBX central - you will be presented with the option of installing in the ORBX library or msfs 2024 (which will be the community folder).................................................................................take a breath.........................have a sip of coffee......................that's it.......................now make your decision. I think from what you have said that will solve your issue. Suggest you choose msfs 2024. Let me know if it works.

You are not my brother are you?...................cause you sound like him.

Nope, doesn't work.

My Folder structure:

D:\Addons\msfs

D:\Addons\msfs24

D:\FSContrail (fake MSFS2020) folder

If I install via ORBX (the right option, install to library) it creates a copy to D:\Addons\msfs

And a shortcut to D:\FSContrail

Even when I copy the EHAM folder from D:\Addons\msfs to D:\Addons\msfs24 it's not recognized.

You sure you have a legal version because there isn't a folder called EHAM also no libraries in the MSFS file structure

I bought it directly from ORBX why I try to installed it via ORBX Central. I had not written the full path. That it-> D:\Addons\msfs\EHAM Amsterdam Schiphol Airport\Community\flytampa-amsterdam

Funny structure path you have. Seems over complicated to me.

Do you have AO linker?

That the path Orbx Central created. I only add D:\Addons\ within ORBX Library. Weird part is, other addons installed via ORBX work well.

EDIT: Yes, I do use AO Linker.

Try moving/copying the 'flytampa-amsterdam' folder (the one you have in the end of the path) and put it directly into the 'root' Community-folder. It works fine here, but I don't have the version through ORBX. I don't know what ORBX is doing, but is sounds overly-complicated.

I purchaased/installed it through the regular FlyTampa-Universal Installer.

What I don't get it, I also installed Athens and Toronto and there is still no flytampa-liberies folder.

Within flytampa-amsterdam do you guys have to folders called: Scenarii and scenery?

Your solution did not work :(

You just aren’t putting the files in the right folder, so MSFS has no idea it exists.

uninstall from orbx. Reinstall and do not choose the orbx library option. Choose the direct placement in the community folder.

It’s a simple issue, once the files are in the correct place it will work.

9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

What will happen is in the JSON file there are pointers to your installation... But when you are going to copy those over MSFS is looking in the wrong place (pointers)

Just simple copy the folder flytampa-amsterdam to your community folder and in that folder there should be layout.json manifest.json files...

No need for libraries in MSFS  installations from Flytampa not used at all, everything needed is in that particular folder...

Now download MSFSLayoutGenerator.exe (https://github.com/HughesMDflyer4/MSFSLayoutGenerator) and save this file in the flytampa-amsterdam folder drag the layout.json file over the MSFSLayoutGenerator.exe and it will update that file.

Start MSFS and Schiphol will be there in full glory (disable all other EHAM installations via your my library in MSFS)
