Are you having intermittent freezing in XP12.3?

Featured Replies

Hi Everybody,

Well looks like the intermittent freezing issue has been found, seems 12.3 has a bug that will affect any plugin that creates visible models. A fix will be coming once some testing has been done to ensure the bug is gone.

Looks like I'll have T/G back online real soon.

The statement to me didn't make it sound like it was related to the US only.

" Got it, and I may have the cause. I'll take some time to test it because there's a separate, unrelated sim bug in 12.3.0 which is affecting any plugin that creates visible models. I can get you both at the same time, once I'm more certain it's OK. "

It's also reported on the .org site too.

My bad. I was meaning that probably only those in US would understand what I was joking about regarding the thread title.

That went over my head. On a good note I hope to be checking this fix real soon.

My sim has froze up a few times in the last few days. I can't find anything in logs or otherwise. I searched Discord on what you are taking about Mike. Has it been scrubbed? I can see where they told you take it to community help but the trail goes cold there.

I don't use Traffic Global, I use LiveTraffic that uses IVAO planes.

Hi,

I'm testing a fix for Traffic Global as I type this, so far no freezing. Looks like Laminar has the same type of issue when creating visible models. They should have a fix out as well I would imagine, they are aware of the issue.

Thanks, I appreciate the uplifting news.

Probably what that next minor update is about

I didn't notice any

I flew a full sortie with the Sparky B744 for the first time in days, after removing LiveTraffic from the roster.

Before that, I flew the Zibo without any problems with LiveTraffic. I am still not sure why I had freezes based on this. Is it aircraft related somehow?

It isn't that bad to fly without traffic, thanks to X-ATC-Chatter to keep me company.

Don't believe it has anything to do with the aircraft you're using, I use the Zibo Mod and have had numerous freezing, even on my server computer that never has any issues.
