MS2024 NVIDIA Drivers MS2024 Specific

I have used the app for some time now. Works fine.

I will be installing the tried and trusted Nvidia graphics drivers that I have been using with MSFS 2020. I do not need any of the fancy DLSS/framegen stuff, so I do not require the very latest drivers.

Driver 591.44 works, but it's producing flickering here.

Do you use this smooth motion or Image smooting or whatever it is called setting available through the App? That does not work here either with NVIDIA frame generation. But with AMD FSR it does coexist.

For some reason I have both the NVCP and the App both installed. No issues so far for the last several months.

No, I'm using the driver settings near to default, just the FR thing and the Rebar disabled (here FS24 like the Rebar off so much). Never had similar flickering with previous Nvidia drivers, but in the official forum there are other users that have this problem.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Beginning to think the Nvidia App and DLSS stuff is baloney, updated drivers to latest, updated settings as advised, do not see any change in either MSFS or MSFS 24' at all, both still have bad AA and shimmering.

You have some issue with your settings. Have you tried resetting everything to default? Use DDU to uninstall, it will wipe any settings that may be interfering

Until such time as the Nvidia App filters work in MSFS 2024, I will refrain from installing the app.  I don’t find it helpful to change drivers frequently, and when a new driver provides any benefit for MSFS, it is a simple process to download and install them manually.

Yep, did all of that, twice in fact, and tried to optimize FS24, will not optimize

Can you post a video of what you’re seeing?

Whenever I try to run or install the Nvidia app, I keep getting "Access denied". This just start happening because it was working before.

I'm good to go now. After contacting Nvidia support they got me going again. I have to say their support was great.

Just installed the newest driver w/o the app with a 5060ti and all is well.
