January 15Jan 15 Hi everyone, I'm currently using BATC to inject traffic. Ground traffic appears normally, but when I'm airborne—even when AI aircraft are very close (they show up on TCAS)—I still can't see them visually, and of course, their contrails aren't visible either. Does anyone know how to fix this?
January 15Jan 15 This is a current "limitation" of FS2024. in FS2020 there were contrails but sadly now in FS2024 none are visible. It appears that several tickets have been opened in the official forums asking for the implementation of this feature. Iñigo Bildarratz
January 15Jan 15 That was the best part of FSHud before going back to BATC. Seemed to work for them in 2024. Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

I am currently at FL330 and had an aircraft at FL370 above me and could clearly see its contrail.
January 15Jan 15 BATC has contrails in my MSFS. However traffic is invisible during the day until you are really close (at night the lights can bee seen further but still the model is invisible). LOD management is a joke just give us the option.

January 15Jan 15 I see contrails too.. with BATC. But as above, you can't really see the plane. That's down to 2024's aggressive LOD behaviour. I see aircraft visually with BATC in MSFS2024 at least up to 5NM away, I also see contrails (not sure about the distance in that case though) For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I can see them from quite a long way away.. it's a tiny dot that gets progressively bigger.. it doesn't just pop into existence.
