I might try the Boris pack...not a big outlay. But, I think the sounds in the 2024 PMDG version are pretty darn good.

The Boris soundtrack with the 2024 PMDG 738 really helps it.  As soon as I put his sounds in, the plane came to life as far as engine sounds go from all views. It is an amazing combination and a step

Hi all,

I bought Boris’s sound pack for the PMDG 737 on MSFS 24. I am not sure it’s actually working though!

I can’t hear any passengers when selecting on Com 3 and to be honest I can’t really hear any real difference to the PMDG sounds.

I purchased and installed via ORBX, I can see that the folder in in the community folder, but not sure what else I need to do?

Many thanks!

Nothing.

Do you suspect I am expecting it to be completely different when it’s actually more subtle?

I am happy with that, except that I still can’t hear passenger chatter after selecting boom on com 3 and also thought the APU still sounded quite weak externally.

Maybe I’ll restart the sim and see if that kicks in any changes.

This is the current pathway I have it stored in my community folder, can anyone confirm if this is correct:

I restarted the sim and I am still pretty sure it’s not working, again my test is to select com 3 to boom and I should hear passenger chat, but I don’t.

Where? In the cockpit? Definately not. The avionics fans are way too loud for you to hear any chatter from the cabin. In the cabin itself, yes.

At least that is how it works in the 777.

I think you have to have passengers boarded, emergency exit armed, as well as com3 set.

Hey guys,

Turns out they are working, went into the cabin and there was a bit of passenger chatter! So they are working!

Thanks for the help!

I found my sounds improved when I actually set my FS2024 sounds Listening Mode to the correct selection. All this time I was using Hi-Fi. When I selected Home Theater for my setup, the sounds became more alive for me. All this time I was using the wrong option for my hardware. Even my switches sound better then before.

want to give this a try (I always thought spatial audio in windoes settings was the recommended setting for MSFS24) - but are you suggestiing disabling this and also selecting home theather or is it all a single setting?

Boris sound pack - light switches sounds not working - runway turnoff, taxi, logo, nav and anti collision. Any ideas if bug or I'm missing something?

Disregard, figured it out... ChasePlane was messing up. As Boris himself suggested - go to outside view and then back in pit to restore all sounds.
