Performance wise it’s roughly on par with KLAX and a bit worse than their EGLL or KJFK for me.

Yes, for me it is better than all of those so it's okay, it just isn't as good as FT, FB or even MK.  But better than DD Newark for sure.  Some developers like FSDT focus on performance, some developers like DD focus on details and quality.  But some can do both and that's what seperates a top tier from a mid tier developer in my mind. iniBuilds airports are good, they just aren't amazing. I don't look forward to an iniBuilds release as much as I do FB, FT, Pyreegue or some other independent developers like Paulo Ricardo.   This DFW was super hyped and for me it didn't deliver but maybe they will update it.  They re-did EGLL so there is a possibility.

I will add that on departure from DFW and then again on arrival in PHNL there were some stutters so part of the performance I saw might have been network related with all the photogrammetry rendering on a Saturday afternoon.  Will have to try again.

......Parallax should only be used on enclosed rooms like an aparment or hotel room or small office rooms, not open terminals.....

I absolutely agree with this statement, but I would also go one step further. It needs to be good quality parallax. If parallax textures are not used properly, they can look absolutely dreadful.

Hi. Thanks for the feedback!
to point 1 - This is correct to the reference we had (late Nov.) and as its active construction we will never be up to the day, BUT, we do have some contacts at the airport and have a copy of the masterplan so you can expect some updates regarding layout in the future.

to point 2 - What are you using for AI traffic? I suspect FSLTL which we've found tend to dance to the beat of its own drum and doesn't really respect gate/airline codes. With BATC/SI we saw much more realistic assignments but even then there is still a small margin of error

Hopefully we get the same for JFK and LAX with the new terminal configurations

I withdraw this comparison...I realized today I made the rookie mistake of not disabling the Asobo DFW.  I did that today and performance was much improved, better for me than JFK or LHR.

Im pretty happy with it, Inibuilds did a great job, for some reason the other one kept giving me problems

Whey does the area around Fort Worth have Pine trees that are like 80' tall?

Thats obviously not an ini issue but what the hell?

Just to let you know, Inibuilds KDFW is part of they Mega Hub sale today so the price is reduced to £9.99 for the next 24 hours.

So if you were waiting for it and don't own this scenery yet, it is the right time to buy it.

Thanks for the heads up...been waiting for DFW to go on sale! I also bought EGKK...glad it was on sale because it is hardly one of Ini's best efforts. The freeware EGKK is very good, but at this price for Ini's, what the heck.
