February 1Feb 1 A friend reached out to me with this video and my kneejerk reaction was to dismiss it as a placebo effect, so I jumped into the sim to see for myself. I took a few snaps over the Florida Keys and this is what I found There's a lot more definition towards the horizon. The clouds here are also more naturally elongated, instead of the usual cotton balls we've been seeing. I looked elsewhere and the old look is still in place, though so I'm still thinking it is a placebo effect. Let me know what you guys think. February 1Feb 1 That's another YouTuber who I just don't trust. All about creating positive or negataive dramas to drive clicks. I flew all day in the sim yesterday, in lot's of different weather and clouds. I honestly don't think there's been any update. February 1Feb 1 Possible end of the world yesterday? Livestream (just 8 h long...) coming up! (!!!!!!) 🙄 Edited February 1Feb 1 by MaGer1965 'It is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.'

I think live weather *has* improved slightly - but I first noticed it a few weeks ago ie. I don't think it's due to a recent update. If you haven't used live weather for a while, it might appear to be a significant change.
February 2Feb 2 It's always pretty amazing to me so I haven't noticed anything different. It may be more accurate but I don't fly where I live so I wouldn't know. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
February 2Feb 2 Usual thing: eye candy gets better, but accuracy ... eeek. It's a scorcher summer here in NZ but MSFS 2024 insists on blanketing a lot of the South Island in snow. Do the Asobo devs know that - yes - some people actually live in the southern hemisphere??
February 2Feb 2 The weather in FS2024 in general I think is very good. Done quite a few low visibility/cloud base approaches recently and it's so immersive the way the lights and then the runway slowly emerge out of the cloud at low level, just like in real life. Just one example of something the old ESP based sims never got right which is so good now.
