But I very much know how to phrase my sentences, to get the point across and I stand by each and every term I used.

It's by the by now, but there's a subset of people who were disappointed not because they are "haters" but the exact opposite. I like PMDG, I own and enjoy pretty much all of their products including

  • We are still on with this coffee story? I see people more than $2000 on a GPU and crying about a $20 upgrade... Those upgrade cost less than a few meals at Mc Donald's and enjoying my 737-80

  • Isn't that getting a bit old now?

Okay - at least you have somewhat of an excuse for the misuse of the language.

Hey so, uhh, did anyone here actually buy the thing that is/isn't discounted and if so what are your thoughts?

Or should I start a different thread to actually discuss then aeroplane?

Yep. It’s as advertised and/or as expected, just like the 738.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 2020 version, the $14 upgrade was a No Brainer.

My only question is whether I’ll also upgrade the -700, since I was one of the people who got the 738 discount price even tho I never owned it.

Thanks.  I agree it's a no-brainer but my motives are purely selfish since I'll be out of pocket for a while and unable to spend the paltry fourteen dollars for the upgrade and fly the fool thing, and thus would very much like to enjoy it vicariously through the exploits of the community.

Oh bummer…!

well, I can say it’s noticeably better than it was, and the exterior enhancements are said to be on short final, so that’ll be improved as well.

im not really as nit-picky as some other folks, and I’m certainly no expert, but I consider the upgrade money well spent. 100% would purchase again.

In all, you’ve really got something nice waiting for you on return! 😁

Think its time for you to go out and buy a cup of coffee 🙂

I don't even drink coffee. 😉

Talking of Coffee, I have been having the exact same Coffee, on and off, for a couple of decades at the same local (*-)  store; a grande dark roast with an extra espresso shot ($5).

No fancy App; I get my coffee the old-fashioned way; come in, say hello to the barista at the counter, exchange a smile, order and pick up my coffee, and spend some time enjoying it there. One of the baristas once told me, “If you change your order even by a tiny bit, the cash register will refuse.”…🙂

Meanwhile, I watch folks rush in to the (unmanned) pickup counter while their cars are parked illegally just outside the front doors, briskly lift up their cup to check their names, and then to speed away in their cars before possibly getting a citation for improper parking…

Today, there was an extra order from a younger family member: A venti Pink Drink with foam, don’t know what that exactly is, ($8), and a Cheese Danish ($3), for a total cost of ($16), including my coffee.

I happened to recall that the cost exceeded the 736 discount price by $2. Anyway, I got the 739 for myself in MSFS2024, not the 736…🙂
