For example, all the EFB changes will be brought to the XPLane products. Have a look at the stream tomorrow to see the details 🙂" Have to show my respect & 😍 for devs that keep their compromisses with the platforms that actually made them full developers, although unfortunately we see many examples of the opposite 😕 Edited February 24Feb 24 by jcomm Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
February 24Feb 24 Nah, I don't believe dev's compromisses, it's up to us to keep the money rolling for the platforms we enjoy.

February 24Feb 24 Commercial Member As a massive ToLiss fan I'm sad to say I've been spending more and more time in the FSLabs and 2024 than I have in X-plane of late purely because of the system depth. The tech log / MEL systems FSLabs have make every flight feel slightly different. Having a randomly broken landing light during a night approach so only one side of the runway lights up sounds so mundane but it makes it really enjoyable. Or a broken windscreen wiper in the rain etc... I really hope ToLiss can implement such a system - I'd happily pay! I have done quite few system resets in flight using breaker, some unresettable but minor one, and a major one: EGT overheat event lead to engine failure. Not mention I have done 70~80% of the drill of my company's A320 recurrent training for some years.

Sure - but it doesn't have little failures that happen regularly and at random - broken light bulbs, windscreen wipers, toilets being unavailable etc. - nor do the major things happen automatically before a flight requiring you to work around them. For instance I had IGN1 INOP one morning requiring me to replan from FL380 to FL300 (as per the MEL document). On another day the APU was unavailable so I needed ground air. The point being that the smaller issues happen much more often in real life than major scary ones and serve to give the plane a feeling of being real in the sim. You also get little "INOP" stickers appearing in the cockpit when the item (IGN1 switch for instance above) is unavailable. I am glad the see the news that what was in the stream will be coming to X-plane. What I like is the new feature that will update the FMS Navigraph data through the datalink with the latest. I think that was cool what they demo.

February 25Feb 25 I hope that the new EFB spells the end for the ISCS. Having to deal with both always kind of felt like having to use the old system control panel for certain things in newer Windows releases. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
March 7Mar 7 I very much doubt they will do this, correct me if i am wrong but I pray they have the EFB available vial local host like the FENIX. Using my tablet at the side of my cockpit and not having to keep looking at the EFB is one of the great things about it. AME GE90, GP7200 CFM56
