In this case, not Garmin is definitely part of the appeal.  Thanks for the info.

As much as the Garmin stuff gets boring it certainly lends itself to the Mouse + Keyboard control inputs of flight sim much better than the Pro Line does 😄

Did a flight in the P180 yesterday and was really impressed. Engine spools a little fast on startup but overall felt good, Other than Blacksquare (which is 3x the price, in fairness) it's probably the best turboprop I've flown.

For a while I just couldn't get past the weirdness of engines 'facing the wrong way'. However, it is FlightFX, and folks are really digging it. I think I have overcome my aversion and will now purchase this product for enjoyment over the weekend lol. Thanks to FlightFX for the top quality products!

I can't do the PROLINE.  It reminds me of coding in COBOL back in the day.  lol

In case anybody is wondering how to import a simbrief flightplan, since flightplan recall isnt enabled yet...

From discord:
"For the time being, have to use the MSFS 2024 EFB Simbrief utility that has a feature to import the FP which then shows up in the FMC. Navigraph evidently working on a Proline 21 v2 update that will provide this directly in the FMC."

I was very exited when I saw the P180 is available in MSFS2024 is I love this unique plane and often flew it in P3D but I think that was a different developer. I am however somewhat disappointed after 4 flights as I am experiencing the following problems.

1. I have a licensed copy of Navigraph Charts but I can not get figure out how to use it on the tablet, it gives a code and although I entered the code on the linked Navigraph screen I am still presented with the page to link the code and I am only getting a a very basic default moving map.

2. When flying an ILS approach the NAV1 frequency suddenly changes in both both the active box and the the area where you change the frequency on the tuner and you suddenly have to re-enter the frequency and update the coarse.

3. It seem to to struggle capturing the autopilot track, often overshooting and then hunting for the track.

4. Non of the circuit breakers work. for the price I was expecting a bit more depth.

Does anyone else have the same problems.

It's a shame that  the 2024 Version is released although not quite finished. So it will stay another while in the hangar 😒

How so?  I mean this isn't a super high end addon, but it does simulate realistic normal regimes of flight.  It's also extremely low priced.  It's a large improvement over the 2020 version.

It's $24.

That's not a price that will get you high-depth features.

I've flown around 8 ILS approaches in the aircraft so far, with no incidences of the NAV1 frequency changing randomly.

Maybe try an uninstall > reinstall.

I think number 3 is a 2020 addon airport thing as it also happens with the G3000 in the HJET.

No issues with 2024 airports.

I found a function in the FMS where you can select if radio frequencies are automatically selected. Disabling this function solves the problem.
