April 4Apr 4 When you drop the version.dll into the Contents folder and then boot up msfs2024, there will be 2 or 3 other files now in Contents beside version.dll. So if you want to stop using the mod, I would remove those files along with version.dll. I would take a screenshot of the folder contents before you add version.dll to help you know which files to remove later if you don't want to the mod to be running in msfs2024. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. It makes the cpu run about 4 degrees hotter which may be why others are getting CTDs. On my system cpu temps run up to max of 83 with this mod. and up to 79 without the mod. I didn't see any destruction of mainthread when not using this mod with native FG on. I never use TAA for anti alias, always DLSS. The destruction of the mainthread occurs without this Mod.. hence why I said it’s necessary! using the native one from sim destroys the performance yet you people do not read at all

You just remove the verison.dll that’s it if want to uninstall it it’s literally in the mod’s page instructions
April 4Apr 4 Sorry gents, it's not totally clear to me if it's doing its thing when I use TAA as anti-aliasing setting. I always come back to this because it still provides much better visual quality for me. I have frame generation set to NVIDIA DLSS with multiplier 2x. I have a 4070 with 12GB. The last flights I did that ended at heavy hubs (ini EGLL and KDFW) had really bad stuttering performance and I thought to myself this is something new. Starting a flight from these hubs is totally fine performance wise. So maybe I suffer from the described problem... April 4Apr 4 4070 and now I have x3 (and x4) FG option. Next flight will be Munich-Heathrow, so is a good test. 13600KF - AIO - 32GB DDR4 - RTX4070 - UW1440p GSync - USB DAC - 2TB NVMe - Windows 11 Pro - Gladiator NXT EVO - 1 Gbps Fiber - MSFS 2024

Other issues that I have not seen are slow cockpit view loading, or jitters while panning the view. I would if I raise the sim settings above my hardware's capability. But I don't. This mod is giving me higher fps (because now I'm not limited to 2X FG. So I use 3X. It raised cpu temps however on my system. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. FG in every single game works as intended and no such issues like the ones here occur.. yet you can’t simply read when i even put the thread from msfs forums above..

Then again this post not for you or about you.. it’s for the people struggling since SU4Beta and SU4.. you just simply not intended audience for this workaround and a bit or reading would’ve made this info clear but as evident by your statement you just simply didn’t read and said it’s something you don’t care about and i see a very concerning conflict in what you stated and what you ended up doing..

Starting a flight from these hubs is totally fine performance wise. So maybe I suffer from the described problem... it could be the drop in fps is so strange and sometimes less aggressive to the point people might not notice until it’s time to setup for the approach.. the issue itself affects mainly people with 100fps+ but also people with less than that.. it manifests as tiny drop in performance.. example you parked at the gate say KJFK your fps is 100 and then you start programing your FMC and calling GSX and communicating with the controller as this all happens your FPS will 99fps 98fps 97fps… until it reaches 80s or 70s but the problem most people here would come bitter and say be grateful 70fps is more than enough but the thing is it’s a stutter fest 70fps and not a smooth one.. with the mod if get 100fps it’ll will never drop incrementally like this and leading into stutters and performance drops.. this why it’s a necessity with current situation

On the positive side, I finished a medium haul flight with the Fenix A320 at Aerosoft EDDF and performance was really good after landing. I will definitely keep this mod and fly to other demanding hubs to confirm. cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px
April 5Apr 5 If I put the version.dll file in the exe folder, I can no longer select DLSS FG in MSFS. I only have FSR FG as an option. What's the problem? I have a 5080 Edited April 5Apr 5 by BU830
