May 13May 13 Hi fellas, There is an excellent freeware Cessna 172M available on Flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/addon/108482/cessna-172m Well worth the download. The FM feels great and there are multiple panel options, including KLN90B, Garmin G5, GNS 430, GTN750 and 650. Only downside to me are the panel textures, which seem a bit to clean. Other than that, this one is a winner if you are into low and slow. Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
May 13May 13 Looks to be another Bagolu output. He produces quality renditions so should be good & he does put out updates to refine the aircraft. I fly his Reims Rocket a lot. T45

The dev said he’d worked extensively with experienced 172 pilots to really get the FM dialed in. if you like it, makes me look forward to giving it a try 👍
May 13May 13 Been flying this a few weeks. It's still very much a work in progress (and IMHO is not at the level of his Reims Rocket yet) but is coming along nicely. It's a shame Bagolu can't yet work with the 2024 SDK though. His planes are very much 2020 planes, that work in 2024. No 2024 features, like external interactables. But it's freeware, and a great option for an older 172! So yes, as a 172M (the final release will also come with 172N model), it's quite different. May 13May 13 Hats off to this developer. His FDE expertise is truly exceptional. I genuinely enjoy flying this aircraft—personally, I find it far superior to many of the alternatives currently available. With some additional refinement to the cockpit textures and gauges in the future, this could become an even more outstanding package. Once again, thank you for your impressive FDE work and for delivering such an excellent product. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

I'm not very familiar with that stuff so I'll dig into it. For me a c172 is a c172 but I understand that is a huge simplification of the reality 😁.It's just amazing what creators like Bagolu can achieve and bring to the community.Have a nice day!
