Aerosoft a340-600 Pro v1.0.3 Released 9 June 2026

Featured Replies

Is this VErsion 1.0.3 still a bad on performance plane. I fly mainly VR and for a refference I am fine with the A350 and A340 by inibuilds. BUt I would like to use this Toliss too. I have read thet Performance is a horror. Of course I know this is diffrent on many systems. I have 9900X3D combined with 5090 RTX and Pimax Crystal Super VR using FFR.

A350 Ini = minimum 45 FPS at EDDF, OMDB etc.
a340 also....

Anyone having experience?

Thanks in advance!
Marcus

For whatever reason, since I updated to v1.0.3, Simbrief flighplans will not load.

I put in a ticket with Aerosoft about it.

There a many issues. I bought it. Carpets not visible, textures issues at floor level (shiny). Windows all frozen and super scratchy, No Co-Pilot Avatar visible. No cabin lighting at night. Each second start of a flight, after at the first start WASM compiled, the sim freezes after hitting Load Flight.

Otherwise this plane has potential and seems very nice done. But especially the second start bug.......(getting stuck at laoding) is a big issue

We just wanted to provide a quick update regarding the 1.0.3 patch for thr A340-600. We are aware of the issues many of you have reported here, on the forum and via tickets. As we announced some of our team is at FSExpo but we're still monitoring the reports and are working to get the fixes out ASAP.

In the meantime, we have enabled the option to downgrade to 1.0.2 via the experimental branch (Aerosoft One users only at the moment). To do so, you will need to uninstall the aircraft and then reinstall by choosing Install Experimental Release through your library.

Oh boy Aerosoft is such a mess. Releasing an update without any apparent testing right before the whole team is on a leave. I'm glad I did not buy it. Always trust the gut feeling

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

If you can fly the Ini A350 and 340 you should not have any performance issues with Tolois.

I would definitely recommend the Aerosoft/Toliss over the iniBuilds.

The iniBuilds has many many bugs and issues, and I have little confidence they will be fixed, given the A350 which was released long before the A340 still has many bugs.

With all of the bugs referred to below, you're recommending the Aerosoft, because the Ini A340 has bugs? 😉

I wouldn't personally recommend the Aerosoft A340 to anyone with all the problems below, and the fact that Aerosoft have had to roll back to the previous version because of all the bugs in v1.03.

Meanwhile the Ini A340 is absolutely bug-free for me. It has far better modeling, textures, sounds and a more intuitive EFB (IMHO). Granted it wasn't great on release but it's had a dozen stable updates that have made it a brilliant addon (and that haven't broken it.)

You take your life in your hands buying an Aerosoft product - they're terrible!

It’s turned into a real disaster with Aerosoft; I’m really disappointed with them too...

I got 2 times mid flight (Long Haul +6 hours) total sim freezes after months of flighing inis a340 and 350 without issues now.
Of course the a340 Aerosoft situation save and config save mode is helping recovering after HARD quitting the MSFS2024 app when hanging, than uninstall WASM A346 Pro folders otherwiese the next start of the flight won´t load at all, then id works. Sometimes it is a hit and miss while starting the simulator (hit Start Flight) with Toliss Aerosoft.

I had so many issues I thought....OK needs to go in the hangar till the next release/update.

The texture work is not good, in my opinion. Lots of issues (missing textures) and also the quality of the details (unsharp and not smooth modelling work) is not on par with inibuilds, fenix and PMDG. Aerosoft screwed it up imo. And THIS is WITH the money of the goverment (almost half a Million)

For 4 years I expected aerosoft will get issues with their flight sim business......and I still see more to come (just my opinion....not a fact at all).

A shame is.....Toliss products are SUPERIOR and Aerosoft its process and issues are draining down Toliss revenue as well.......

There was no sane reason for Aerosoft to release a bugged patch 1.03. However you can recover by downgrading. Big giant screw up by Aerosoft. However, the quality of the plane is excellent system wise. I don't care about carpet on the floor, window shades going up and down or if overhead bins open and close. System and performance wise this 340 excelled greatly. I did a long haul flight from Dubai to Toronto, almost 12 hours and it flew the route and landed as should. My point is from the cockpit flying, I found no issues and that's what matters to me instead of judging a release good or bad on cabin eye candy. Also blurry outside skin textures has nothing to do with system performance and performance of the aircraft.

I have already reported the issue on AS forum since the initial release, and they have acknowledged it, however the problem is still present after v. 1.0.3: there is no-auto readback with the built-in ATC in MSFS2020.

Setting the AI assisted readback/radio handling works just for the first radio contact (the one with the clerance and the transponder code). For this first time, the AI Pilot reads back the clerance but does not set the transponder code. After that, radio silence and I have to handle radio myself.

Additionally (also reported elsewhere) the GSX Pro compatibility remains an issue, i.e. after starting the engines (all 4!) and communicating to the ground crew via the GSX menu that there is a good engine start, ground crew replies "engines not started yet, I'll call you later" forcing the user to stop the pushback procedure via the "interrupt push back" option in the GSX menu to release pushback tug and be able to taxi.

I hope that AS takes note of these bugs and solves them in one of the next (hopefully, the next) update.
