Another warm night but this morning I threw open all the windows upstairs and down plus the patio doors and everywhere is now lovely and cool. 24.6°C in the lounge and 22°C outside.

My brain is working again and I’ve had my first flight in a week. 😁

I can see what you mean but the amount of water in the air is of no importance to me. What my instruments tell me is important. Currently 19°C and 77% humidity is comfortable.

Well, the amount of water in the air is indeed important to you, as 19C air at 77% relative humidity is "comfortable", whereas 30C air at 77% relative humidity would not be, and the 30C air would have a lot more water in it.

Looks like the US are in for another "heat dome" coming this weekend while us Europeans say "goodbye" to the one that has hovering over western Europe for a week and is now moving eastwards.

It was a pleasure to have all the windows open at 4am this morning to lets some cool air in and hear the patter of a few raindrops!

Relief at last! - but probably not for long though.🙂

Yep, temps in the 32-34C range all week here. Then it drops back to normal around 30C.
