These days I'm pretty much just flying the iFly MAX and Fenix. Been thinking about getting a high-fidelity bizjet for something different. I haven't followed the discussion on this product. How would you guys rate this one, both from a system fidelity and a handling perspective? Is this now at the top of the biz jet pyramid for FS2024?

From my perspective there are four high-fidelity jets. One stock (C700 Longitude), three payware (FFx C750, Skyward Simulations C680+ and the FSReborn Phenom 300). Two lesser so, one stock (CJ4) one payware (FFx HJet). All six are stunning in their own right and any of these planes will make a wise and appreciated purchase by you I’m sure. Do the research and make your choice or choices, it’s all up to you. Blue skies,

It depends what you are looking for and what is meant by hi-fidelity. I believe only the Phenom has failures or any form of maintenance. In my opinion it is a very complete, high-fidelity aircraft with a great flight model that takes practice to learn. System wise, the others focus on completely normal operations. My impression is the systems are modeled by far the deepest on the Sovereign, the only one with circuit level simulation of the electrical system, very complete G5000 synoptics etc., likely followed by the C750 and the Longitude. I feel the Honda Jet is well behind all of these, a simplified, mid-fidelity jet with simulated, isolated systems. So it depends on what level of fidelity you are looking for.

I was really enjoying the Sovereign, its systems are excellent but then I discovered in the rear baggage area a gaping hole where you can see outside the plane, and just knowing it is there drives me crazy and keeps me away from the aircraft, surely unreasonable I know but I sure wish Skyward would fix the model there.

In addition to the previously recommended biz jets, I’d add the recently rebuilt FSW Lear 35 for a couple reasons:

1. Its definitely hi fidelity, with failures, etc

2. A GREAT flight Model and definitely a hot rod when it comes to performance.

3. Classic steam gauge cockpit with support for the various GPS’

4. Other neat features/options like cargo, medevac, long range tanks, etc

In terms of Top Biz Jet, I don’t think that’s what FFX have been shooting for…

The main advantage of the X is simply its very high top speed. But that doesn’t really move the needle for me…

IMHO, best bang for the buck remains the Longitude. Very deeply simulated.

For modern jets, I’m a fan of the Phenom, personally. Failures, fidelity and even a custom FBO(!)

I haven’t tried the Sovereign as it’s just too much overlap with the Longitude and Phenom, IMHO. But it’s gotten really good feedback from folks here and elsewhere.

I loved it before but this update elevates it to my favourite bizjet now. Just magnificent.

I am sorry but I find the Citation x a little bit „aseptic“ and „tasteless“. Therefore I prefer other business jets.

Curious. Mind telling us what those "septic" and "tasty" business jets are?
