  1. Try this: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/qbzdgeiwlfrnvgv60d9d2/tds-gtnxi-carenado-skymaster.zip?rlkey=b1g2pe00o7n3mgcty3aojo8cd&dl=0
  2. I discovered a Carenado C182RG in my hangar, dusted it off, and tried it... May just appear in this airplane on Saturday.. but am prepared to switch back to the Ryan Butterworth T182T if I look like a Bonanza to others in the flight..
  3. I tried a different approach... I left the folder (empty) behind, and MSFS has not complained (yet).
  4. FS3 switched to 3.5 as best I recall..
  5. I initially wanted to base our flight on the FS2.0 version, but the airport list was a bit disappointing..
  6. This takes us back to 1994, when a book: Flights of "13MIKE" was our guide to the flight simulator world. Flightplan here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/pqbdkr6l07vgeg0hztuu3/VFR-Merrill-C.-Meigs-Field-KCGX-to-University-Of-Illinois-Willard-KCMI-.pln.zip?rlkey=k5skvmjr76r6av0yg92p007uy&dl=0 Suitable aircraft: C182 or similar... to fit with the vintage FS theme. 🙂 If you have the Carenado C182, I would recommend this mod: No additional scenery required for this flight. Particulars: Date and time: Saturday April 13, 18:00 UTC RTWR Multiplayer Discord Channel MFS Multiplayer: US Eastcoast Server If you want to help others enjoy the multiplayer experience, don't forget to enter your aircraft details on the multiplayer spreadsheet (linked here). Your courtesy will save others a lot of time and effort. Thanks!
  7. Have you got the controls mapped via FSUIPC? In that case, you can recover by pausing the sim, exiting FSUIPC, and restarting it.
  8. If you look closely at the folders in the file explorer, is the LocalCache folder actually a link? If yes, it likely points to the D drive.
  9. This may look strange, but is fact correct... Note the two uses of the Packages name which is confusing!
  10. Can you copy the Packages folder, the one in the LocalCache folder, manually to a new folder on your C drive, maybe from your backup, and change the line in the usercfg file to point to the new location? If that works, you can delete the Packages folder on the D drive. As for msfs itself, you can try the "Move app" routine to move it to the C drive, if indeed it currently is not there..
  11. Wpsystem is what MS uses when moving msfs onto a different drive.
  12. Just one of those things... maybe something at my end.. Or "In the Cloud".. 🙂
  13. No, the failures are turned back on after not flying it for a while.
  14. Are these guys in any way affiliated with Blackbird Simulations? They offer amazingly detailed views of the aircraft!
  15. That is indeed what I do with the other BS aircraft. I would be happier if I could make this a permanent choice for each aircraft, rather than having to set it at startup, but that is a minor issue. I still am amazed that this level of complexity can be simulated without impacting overall performance. Just watched the "environmental" Duke video.. We have come a long way from my early programming days where tight code and avoidance of any unneeded computation was paramount.. Maybe that uneasy feeling is still lingering in my mind when I see all these fancy things being simulated whether I choose to look at them or not.. However, modern multi-core processors clearly can compute a lot of stuff in real time, so my concerns are hopefully misplaced and out of date.. 😉
  16. I am in the same boat.. and since I tend to spend little time fussing with fouled spark plugs and flooded engines, this one may just carry too much "study level" content for my liking. Realistic flight model and avionics are top of my wish list, and the other Blacksquare aircraft, A36 and TBM850 provide that already.. 🙂
  17. Not sure the Turbine Duke was designed for "rough" conditions.. It strikes me more as an expensive Italian sportscar, Ferrari or Lamborghini, to be treated with care and with respect.. You may have to look for other places to fly this aircraft, unless your definition of backcountry is paved airstrips in remote locations.. which you can certainly visit in this aircraft.. 😉
  18. This is the last Bahamas flight in this series, as we fly south east to the Turks and Caicos islands. We start at Pittstown Point, Crooked Island. MYX1 in the sim and MYCP in the Garmin GTN750. Here are the flight plans, subject to some revisions as we survey the individual airstrips... https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/mau9zuax1hj0mcae5xo9o/VFR-Pittstown-Point-MYX1-to-Jags-Mccartney-Intl-MBGT.zip?rlkey=givue3q741kbeb0f5vpsupq73&dl=0 Suitable aircraft... Bonanza or similar, 150 kts cruise or better. No additional scenery required, but the Bahamas package from the past flight (part 2) still contains at least one new airport and should be activated. 19. Sent you something to try.. Anyone else with this problem.. try: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/dypif635rrdoumy1bbwhr/Bonanza-Turbo-V4-1SU8.zip?rlkey=ehwdaemuodyhmu1g9jvhdqa5t&dl=0
  20. Picking up where we left off last week, we meet up at Nassau International airport and continue our journey, first heading for North Eleuthera Island and then following the island chain south, ending up at the well named Deadman's Cay on Long Island. Here are the flight plans, subject to some revisions as we survey the individual airstrips... https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/cw8huj6nwwpmfvsqi6l64/VFR-Lynden-Pindling-Intl-MYNN-to-Deadmans-Cay-MYLD.zip?rlkey=f81jutky7a0b5ukd0bykusl1t&dl=0 Suitable aircraft... Bonanza or similar, 150 kts cruise or better. No additional scenery required, the airports should all be in the sim.. 21. Has happened to me in the past.. but amazing how easy it is to forget when it happens again! 🙂
