I can relate to that... Then I was able modify panels and gauges, even scenery at will... and I had the code on my computer, no need to synch with XBox before simming. I could also reload the airplane after small changes without quitting the sim.. Yes, the sim quality is much better now, no contest.. but the MS Games straightjacket can indeed be a mental drain.. maybe it is just me getting older and not understanding the technology.. 😉

They come with the Premium Deluxe version of MSFS.

OK.. I will chat with TDS about their plans for the GTN750NXi. I have never participated in an MSFS Beta, so wondering if that is a clever thing to do.. The previous WT G3X was able to be driven by the GTNXi just fine... just the flightplan WPT, DIS, and ETE variables were not picked up.. so this has to be possible a second time, I would hope.. 😉

Do you have Multiplayer tags enabled? If so, the tag should tell you what aircraft is being flown. MSFS multiplayer does not always display the correct airplane model, however.. so you may see a Bonanza instead of a helicopter.. Lastly, some users fly their A320s as if they were XCubs.. so anything is possible..

@MattNischan Hi Matt, this is really exciting! Is there a way to volunteer as an early tester? I looked at your Discord, but do not see a G3X section.. can you point me in the right direction? Send me a PM if required.. I currently use an updated version of the earlier WT G3X with slightly improved visuals, corrected GTN flightplan WPT, DIS, ETE readouts, and Radar Altimeter in my RV14A. Would love to make sure that the GTNXi integration has this content working... 🙂

Just an update for MSFS2020... We now use Discord for voice communications, and no longer use JoinFS, since the built in Multiplayer function in MSFS does the job (most of the time..) 😉

Welcome.. and please let us know what kind of airplane you end up flying in the sim! Suggest having a look at Rob Young's Turbo Bonanza mod, if the G1000 is your avionics choice..

I think you have been getting bad advice... The download versions for MSFS (MS Store or Steam) should work just fine on a PC with your joystick. As mentioned above, the CD version is 4 years old and obsolete.

You can try this fix as a test... There is a workaround listed on the forum, if you are willing to edit some WT GNS code.. I did just that and it cleaned up things for me.

Not based on my experience with the current version of the mod.. The LOD changes repeatedly with no stutter.. none.

My system was set to 150/100 before... The "default settings" for the mod seem to work just fine... However, I am not seeing any real difference with TLOD 200 vs 100.. maybe in the far distance... So I wonder why bother?

I just tried your latest release with the default settings.. There is no checkbox next to StepMax which is set to 5/5, but I do not get gradual changes, but rather step changes 100/150/200 when in climb.. Edit... somehow I got the 0.3.5. test version... Have now updated one more time, and the UI has indeed changed..
